Bond Arms--Do they need more calibers?

There's a single shot Cyclops coming out. For those who think one is enough!

A .44 Mag Cyclops was likely as it will appeal to more people given the ammo availability. I guess a .41 Mag will likely be coming as well.

These Cyclops will be all over the used market and I will be keeping an eye out for a used .45-70.

I guess I'm the only one who could care less if they even existed in any caliber.:p
It's the perfect gun. Two shots is all you need. One for the warning shot and the other for the perp if he does not take the warning shot seriously. ;)

I have been a vocal critic of several Bond products for a long time, I didn't like the derringers as they were way to big and heavy for anything other than novelty use, the Bullpup is another pricey novelty given the added barrel length doesn't add much velocity and the action questionable with reliability.

The Stinger was the first time I could actually say Bond made something worth considering and at a a decent price. You're not going to find a semi auto or revolver as flat as the Stinger and for backup uses or pocket carry, the Stinger can work.

Now, if Bond really wants to impress me, they should take a look at a reproduction of the Schuler Reform in .32 and .38

Stinger RS and Honey B both the narrow frame Stinger style and available in .38 Special.
With Honey B you get very big grip!
I can't find a Stinger to buy though. They have been on their site for months, but none available to buy that I have seen.

None in 38 on GB now (not the authority, but an indicator).

The RS Stinger is a steel frame, cheaper than the Al one on a Stinger, but also heavier (17oz vs 12 for the Stinger). I'll pay for the lighter package in this case.

I have a Stinger RL in .380 and an RS in .38 Spl. The in-hand feel of the weight difference is quite substantial. A 17 oz gun is not a heavy gun but compared to a 12 oz it's a brick.

Your local gun shop may be able to order one for you, especially if it is a Bond Arms dealer. A dealer may have better sources. Bond lists a bunch of wholesalers that GSs can order from. Still, it may not be available because I recall hearing that demand is very high and it is hard for production to keep up.

I have one dealer near me but they charge well over MSRP.

I just wish that parts could be ordered direct from Bond.

So I am wondering what to get next for my Bond collection. I have a rowdy .45/.4.10 (3") and a Roughneck 9mm (2.5") plus three extra barrels, a 4.25" .45/.410, a 3" .45 ACP, and a 3" .38/.357. I really would like a third frame, but the selection is pretty limited, especially if I want it to fit with my existing barrel collection, so kind of leaning to sticking with the old style Bond ("fat boy"?) vs the skinny stinger. However the stinger has its merits. So here is what I am looking at as possiblitites:

The cheapest I can get a new frame is the BP22, but I am not sure I want a .22 Bond.

BP22 (removable trigger guard, and remove them I do!):

Otherwise I have to get a thin-frame bond. Not sure they are all Stingers, but they hae a lot of them now with the thin frame and in calibers of .22LR, .380 ACP, 9mm. and .38 special, all for under $300 and in several models. Or the Honey B for $320 (MSRP) that also is available in .22 Magnum and has a bigger grip. Then there is the Stubby 2.2" barrel in .22LR - .380 - 9mm, but they achieved the shorter barrel by hacking off the end of a 2.5" barrel, so most of the front sight is missing. I don't have a .380 and have been studiously avoiding ever buying a .380 just because I have plenty of sizes of ammo already to stock and a 9mm can do anything a .380 can and more, but perhaps fit in a smaller space (guns in general, Bond same space). I also don't like the thinner, Stinger style guns because you cannot remove the trigger guard, but for the Stubby where apparently they not only cut off the end of the barrel, but also chopped off the trigger guard. Yep, maybe the Stubby is the way to go, though it won't fit my other barrels.

Decided on neither of the above and ordered a Rawhide .22LR instead, which is very similar to the BP22, but no trigger guard and a little shorter on the lower frame lip.

About a week ago one of our customers had us order a Snake Slayer 4 1/4". My boss ordered it from one of our distributors and, apparently, the SKU was wrong on their website and they sent us a 3 1/2".
Well, not wanting to see the shop get stuck with something that would likely take quite some time to sell, and being the loyal, concerned employee that I am I felt it was my duty to buy it.
That brings the count to 10 frames and a total of 15 barrels. I'm quite certain this will be my last.
(I also believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and that our elected officials all act in our best interest.)

At least you understand that you have an issue

I have issues like that, trying to get one with the Bond platform but they aren't helping me much.

Ok, I believe in the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus. Politicians working in our best interests- that is just to much of a stretch 🤣🤣🤣
Adding Bond Arms options is just plain fun!
I have 3 j frames (all 38+p). I would like to a 357, 32mag, and 22lr 👍some guys collect Glocks.

So do I. I very nearly bought one a few months ago when Bucksnort Outfitters had it in stock. I have no idea what stopped me other than perhaps a rare fleeting moment of practical thinking.
The only one I sort of regret buying is the .40 S&W.

I only see the .30 Carbine listed at Buck Snort and Taylor's and Company, both out of stock. My LGS cannot get one either.
