380 ACP (LCP) in the pocket always, accompanied by a 9mm (SIG 239, SR-9/9c, S&W 908) or a 40 S&W or 45 ACP (SIG 229, Kimber Ultra Carry II) on the hip. Most times it's a 9mm though.

Always have a LCP in my back pocket.....when I'm wearing a jacket I carry my 3" SP101 in 357 Mag in a Simply Rugged OWB holster and a speedloader in my pocket.
If I have to go to St. Louis I will be carrying a M&P9 in an OWB Galco holster.

Different tools for different jobs.

Two, based on season.

22Mag NAA Black Widow during tshirt and shorts months.

Old school, 45 Colt (Taurus 450 ultralite) in the winter.

I voted 9mm, but it's sort of a toss up between that and 45.

I carry the 9mm about half the time. If I'm at work, or dressing such that I need to be a bit more discreet, my single-stack 9mm is the gun of choice. If I'm dressed casually and just doing "me stuff" for the day, I generally take the XD .45 compact. It's harder to conceal, so it's relegated to less critical times.

Once in a while, I drop my .38 J-frame in my pocket. That gets carried less than 10% of the time though.

I wish you could have picked 2 options because I carry both .45 and 9mm. I live in TN and in the winter it's cool enough I can carry the .45 with no problem. But in the summer it's too hot for a good cover garment so I carry the 9mm since it's so much smaller.

I recently replaced my CZ PCR 9mm with a SIG RCS 1911 .45ACP. I am confident with either pistol and either caliber, but the CZ was a double stack, and printed more, also it does not have tritium night sights. the SIG RCS is everything I could ask in a CCW.

NAA 22 magnum revolver. I know, your laughing. But if I stuck it in your neck I bet you a dollar you would stop. especially after you saw my face lol :cuss:

.357 in a 2.25" SP101 DOA. Why? Because I have no doubts about the cartridge and the SP101 is so easy to carry it's almost like it's not even there. Although I wish I would have went with the 3" barrel.

I'd love to carry my 1911, but it's just too hard for me to conceal. I don't see how others do it.

The title of the poll asks for primary handgun choice, but the actual poll choices are for cartridges. Well, I answered .357 Magnum in the poll, because I shoot a medium to medium/large-framed revolver more consistently better than any other handgun, and the most effective cartridge for such weapons is the .357 Magnum. Favorite weapon among these revolvers? Well, my favorite individual sixgun is a certain stainless steel 4" GP100 with lugged barrel and adjustable sights.

For actual concealed carry, on a daily basis, my 4" S&W Model 19-5 is easier to tote than the GP100, plus I have SP101 fiveguns in several configurations.

When I wear my uniform, I am required to carry a .40 autoloader, and I am OK with that, as one of the authorized choices is the SIG P229 DAK, an autoloader that points and shoots very much like my favored sixguns.

i have evolved from the 9mm to the .45 acp over the last year. nothing against the 9mm but i shoot the .45 acp much better.

1911 full size .45 ACp in a quality MIlt Sparks rig - belt, holster mag carrier

I also have a 625 5" Bbl. .45 ACP/.45 Auto Rim - thoit's hardly a carry option. I'd consider a Nightguard 325

2nd place would be my CZ 75B in 9mmLuger.

My primary carry now. 44 Special. Might have to come up with something else in the summer. 40 S&W or 45ACP
