ClonaKilty & CleverName; we'll take and post a lot of pictures so you can see what you missed; and besides- it's not like we'll never do this again, right?

Awww, allright. Have fun, be safe and don't start any fires... :p

Well I just got off the phone with the nice lady at Los Altos; we're good to go on the barbecue. No Boy Scouts in site.

So far it looks like me and Telperion for sure. Atek3!! Need a ride?

That can't be everyone.

Most excellent winston! We'll bring this city under control yet!

Figure $30 each for range fees and eyes/ears protection unless you bring your own.

Parking is no problem and no charge.

Bring the four rules and we're good to go.

I'm in, where and when do we meet up? What can I bring to BBQ?

What range will everyone be shooting at?

Sned45- bring whatever you like to put on the 'que; we seem to usually meet up at the 40 yard tin can range- look for the loudest ugliest blue Hawaiian shirt; I'll be in it.

What time is this whole shabang going to end? My ride is pooping out, can't drive me till around 2, meaning I wont arrive there till after 3, which I think might be too late, but might not. Henry, I might have to take you up on that ride....

I suspect that I can make it -- what time on the 9th? Is the tin can range rifle only?

The tin can range seems to be where we spend most of our time; it's open to all calibers; handgun and rifle. The nice thing is they allow rapid fire of .22 on that range.

I've got some dogs, buns, potato salad, and water. I plan on being there around 10:30 how about everyone else?

I'm bringing some paint-n-water filled bottles... I'd advise all y'all to do the same. Tin can range allows bottles with water up to 1 gal., plus soda cans, IIRC.

Paint is always fun... pretty colors.

Also bringing some charcol, steak, and watermelon.

I'm planning to arrive 10-10:30. I don't have much space in the car for food, so I'll just bring some snacks and grab some soda tomorrow morning before I drive up.

Ok let's just get this out of the way right now:

Sned45's 1919 is super badass, awesome. And by awesome I mean sweeeet.

OK, smallish group this time, myself, Telperion, Atek3, CombatWombat & Sned45, but still fun as always. The weather was just about perfect and we haven't had rain in awhile so no mud this time. We spent most of our time (as usual) on the 40yd. tin can range; decimating the relentless waves of the attacking plastic water bottles.

They never stood a chance.

Atek3 picking off the leaders of the plastic hoard with my M4. Telperion is next to him with his Sig .357 in FULL RECOIL ACTION™

Something you never want to see when it's angry.

Myself evening the odds against the tougher skinned plastic jugs with my M1A, again in FULL RECOIL ACTION™ with extra brass flying goodness.

Telperion hosing the bottles old school 1919 style but with hi-speed lo-drag flavor via the HoloSight.

And then the mandatory BBQ and BS session afterwards, and not a tofu dog or veggie burger in sight. Just plain old meat on fire.

Missed the people that couldn’t make it, it’s always more fun with a larger crowd, but we have the whole rest of the summer... so should we start planning now?

Weird... something about that cool pic with Chris and the M1A with the brass flying has a "Taken in 1978" kinda quality to it... Something with the lighting, or maybe only the aviator sunglasses. Either way, I think it looks cool.

the m1a shot with the brass in the air, that was all me, and my mad action capture skillz

Great fun guys. chambered in .308.

I got a parts kit from a group buy on 1919a4.com. If your interested in building one you will need a parts kit, right side plate 80% or 100% your choice, machineing done for the thicker right side plate, and few welds.

All the parts can be found on 1919a4.com. If you have any questions I will do my best to help.

You can buy a 1919 ready to go for 2k at http://www.ohiorapidfire.com/old1919.htm but it's much cheaper to build your own.
