Carl Larson was a famous folk painter in Sweden in the late 1800s, early 1900s. Painted scenes from his estate and family life, very well known among Scandinavian painters. His art is every where and on every thing in Sweden. An American equal might be some one like Norman Rockwell.
Just saw a home movie with him from 1916 and there he was, out in a canoe doing some water fowl hunting. Another scene from the inside of his home showed a large gun rack with over 20 long guns.
Who knew!
