Oh, boy. I can't express how great it feels finally to own another AR. I sold off my ArmaLite M15 about a year ago and have regretted it ever since.

I should kick myself for giving away my remaining 300 rounds of ammo a few weeks ago. That's enough for a couple of days at the range.

Anywho, I need to stock up on some more mags while they're still legal to be manufactured.

Check out the pics.

As you can see, it has flip up front and rear sights, a highly ergonomic pistol grip, a foregrip, free floating quad rails, adjustable stock, Phantom flash suppressor threaded on a 16" bbl, and a Sure Fire light attached on the right side. Oh, yeah - and a "tactical" sling. Everything's tactical these days.

Next on the list: FAL or HK91 clone.

thanks for fixing the pics, yep i is nice lookin.
as far as nods, get a se of pvs -14's and a mount and use them with what ever red dot that you plan to get i reccomend the eotech, the nods can also work with the acog.if you want to go that route.

here is my evil black Lespaul custom in the background with some not so evil or black mil-surps I picked up a few months ago.

What was that thread about wearing hearing protection?Sure with my guns I will, but with my LP's and strats it just wouldn't seem right.

Well, to be honest, it's a work in progress. I'm pretty damn good considering I got a late start playing when I was eighteen. That said, I'm no Jimmy Page or Eddie Van Halen by any means. And these days I hardly have time to practice. At the most I get 5 to 10 hours a week. Back when I was first starting to play guitar I practiced like 30 hours a week - you know, part time job and only two classes at college at the time. Now I work and I'm taking 5 classes.

I only have my Takamine acoustic-electric at the moment. I had to sell my Ibanez RG series and Line 6 amplifier to pay rent a few months back. The Ibanez was a great guitar, but I hated the locking tremolo setup. What a PITA. Next guitar will have a hard tail.

Looks like you are ahead of me in the guitar collecting game. I had better catch up.

The next guitar I will buy will be a Gibson SG. Those things are sexy as all hell. I do like Les Pauls quite a bit, though. And Paul Reed Smith makes some killer pieces as well. Can't decide. There's... too many of them!!!!

<photography teacher voice>YOU GET AN F!!!</voice>

Nice rifle though.

I know my photography skills are non-existent. Rifle is nice.
Thanks. I dig it, too.

Anybody use this before? I seems like this would be the ultimate optic.

Probably better off starting a new thread and mentioning the name of the optic if you want answers to this. I've used one. Conceptually it seems like it would be just the best idea ever; but in actual practice I found the difference in height cheek weld between the two sights to be a problem for me.

I saw that setup on a rifle the other day, very nice but pricey. Guitar player here too... am I seeing a pattern?

I can't figure out how or where a battery would go for the Doctor.

I know they sell the docter as a stand alone and have seen setups with an acog in the traditional mounting location with the docter optics reddot mounted at a 45 degree angle further up on a railed forearm so you just tilt the gun and look forward at the red dot, now that looks pretty sweet and practical. I like the acog but would have to agree about the high cheek weld for the red dot

Guns and guitars are a nice combo

Heck yeah! I thought a great name for a band would be ".50 Caliber" or "Locked and Loaded," but upon further reflection I suppose that the former is a bit of a rip-off of .38 Special.

Guns n Roses should be Guns n Guitars.

would you beleave.....that when the wife and i where on our way to our honeymoon site
we passed a pawn shop named "GUNS-N-GUITARS"
about a mile down the road we passed a store with a big sign that read
"we now have 7up"this is no joke!

sorry for thr dbl post.

I didn't get a chance to shoot the gun but I didn't have any problems with the cheek-weld height. Actually it was so comfortable I didn't even think about it.

Maybe if I was firing the gun I might notice a difference but from my angle it looked like a sweet deal.

keep it up man, guitar is awesome, and so is shooting.I really have a duel passion for it though guitar is my #1 above guns.

Both are great ways of stress relief, though music allows one to express themselves and create.

It only takes one guitar to learn to play good,it only takes one gun to learn how to shoot good.

It is only in recent years I have been able to accumulate more guitars and guns, if you are only in your early 20's then I have almost 20 years on you though.

congrats again,and keep it up,on both.
