My carry choice out of the bunch is my P11. It is 100% reliable, easy to carry and I can use my smith 12 round mags in it!

IWB, a Bobtailed Smith & Wesson Scandium Commander and for Pocket Carry, a Kimber Ultra Carry II, both .45 ACP 1911's. They conceal as well as most of your list, are very reliable, lightweight and have lots of OOOOMPH. In a 9MM it would be the Gold Standard, the Browning Hi Power followed by a CZ-75B.

I voted PM9. But I also like the Ruger SP101. The Kahr rides nicely in an ankle or deep cover shoulder rig, in addition to the more traditional IWB. But if going IWB, I tend to prefer the SP101's greater power, or go to a larger platform altogether.

Taurus Millenium Pro 40

My carry gun is the Taurus Mil-Pro 40 in stainless. This is one sweet shooting gun, very accurate, fits my hand awesome, the recoil is totally manageable, and its been 100% reliable after 1000 rounds. I really, really like this pistol, almost more than my XD-40. My duty load is the Winchester Ranger 155 grain JHP, 1200 fps/500 ft lbs energy. These rounds don't kick bad at all, I was pleasantly surprised.

The 642, P11 and 3913 seem very popular here. I own one of each. Of the 3, the 3913 (3914 actually, same gun, different finish) gets my top vote. Great ergonomics, flat and slim, accurate as heck, and dead reliable. I appreciate the many merits of the 642, I really do, but the 3913/3914 is superior for me for CCW.

The Kel-Tec brand of pistols leaves too much to be desired. The guns should work out of the box and shouldn't need "fluffing and buffing" to ensure that they work.

I currently carry a Taurus Millenium Pro 745C in .45 ACP. 6 +1 Rounds.
