I just received the cased Wells Fargo that I bought on GB.
It, like the ASM's, has a Colt barrel address but instead of the ASM pyramid has the Uberti gun muzzle/U logo under the barrel.
It also has "Colts Patent No ____" on the cylinder as well as "W F & Co" on the butt strap and has all the Italian proofs.
It, like all of my Colt marked ASM's, is date code marked "AP" for 1986.
There is another AP code, cased Uberti Wells Fargo (SN 0755) on GB for a lot more than I paid (it is listed as of COLT manufacture and was owned by "Stagecoach" star Dale Robertson) but the picture of the top barrel flat does not show the two line Colt address that mine (SN 0707) has.
The Uberti stainless prototypes with brass guards that are selling on GB are all date coded "AD" for 1978 and are all Colt barrel address marked.
Fingers McGee - I believe you said the ALL stainless Uberti's that you are collecting are from the early eighties. That puts them in between the prototypes and the AP's I'm finding. Do any of them have Colt markings too?
