RIA's are good, I own one! Dalys are ok too! I love my colt, I carry mine and myself prefer Daly or colt, but my Springfield is my favorite! Everyone has their own special one!

While i will agree that since it's a SALE price, it doesn't count as much as MSRP but just thought I'd throw it out there that you can still get them at decent prices if you look hard enough... or just get lucky.

Look around, they're still cheap, and excellent guns for what you get. My RIA tactical is accurate and dead nuts reliable. She's far from the prettiest girl at the dance, but you know what you'll be getting afterward

Why do I say that they "keep going up"?

Perhaps it's because they were being sold by SARCO between 2003 and 2006 for $289 shipped (sometimes less during sales). Then it went up to $320-ish. Now it's apparently a full $100 more than the original price.

Seems pretty apparent to me, but suit yourself.

You have to compare that price to that of the other 1911s at the time & now... The claim was that they are gaining in price faster than the other 1911s.
