Hey all,
What's everyones thoughts on the value of a CZ 40B not NIB, but in really good shape with all original box, mags, target spent case etc. Any opinion of this firearm would be appreciated as well. From what I understand they have an interesting history with Colt.
Thank you

Great CZ. I had one, back when I didn't really like .40 all that much, and foolishly let it go.

It may be one of the best CZs. Internally, it's almost pure CZ-75, but with a grip angle more like the 1911. (Developed in a joint effort with Colt, to let Colt reenter the LEO market in the US. Colt chickened out...) The Colt Z-40 was almost the same gun, different roll marks, and mostly DAO triggers. I've only seen two of those. You can't use the Kadet Kit on the CZ-40B, but you can use standard mags. (A CZ-40B baseplate makes them look right.)

Values I've seen are about what they sold for when new. $275-$350.

(I started to send you a PM and some trade offers -- but you should see what others have to say, first. I may have quoted you a low price...)

Best 40cal I have personally owned! Do remember a bit of trigger slap, and the recoil spring was so weak in mine when I got it, that you could feel the slide smack the frame every shot. Accurate as any CZ, great factory sights too. Sold mine for $350 a year ago. Hands down the best DA trigger of any CZ I've owned, very smooth.

saw one at a lgs recently for 450, it was never fired though, I'd imagine one in good condition that has seen some use might be worth 400, local market may vary.
