Daily Carry Gear... Whats your setup?

If I am dressed nice I wear a 220 Elite for brown clothes or a 220 Equinox with the custom beaver tail and Elite SRT trigger for black clothes. Both ride in a Galco concealed carry holster and extra mags are in a Galco pouch. I carry a Benchmade auto opener everyday in my pocket.

For a regular day my real working gun is a Para P14R with an extended threaded barrel from Barstow. They too ride in Galco rigs.

Just kidding I don't carry but I pray for the day we can all carry what ever when ever, not because we have to but because we can.

This comes up frequently, but here goes:

Mitch Rosen 1.5" Belt
Glock 36 in Milt Sparks Versa Max II
-> Loaded with Federal HST
Spare mag in MS pocket carrier
Ruger LCP in MS pocket carrier
-> Loaded with Winchester Ranger T
Kershaw Black Blur
Surefire E2D LED Defender flashlight

About 50% of the time recently I've been swapping my Kimber Tactical Custom II in (also in a Milt Sparks Versa Max II with Federal HST) for the Glock, with a spare mag in pocket holster as well. I like carrying a full size gun when I'm just about town, but if I'm doing any work I usually go for the Glock.

gun: ruger SP101 w/2" bbl
holster: none. i use a clipdraw. sometimes at 1:00...sometimes at 4:00. (yes, i know it should be consistent)
knife: kershaw leek (assisted opening) in back strong-side pocket
multi-tool: leatherman XTi in back weak-side pocket

front weak-side pocket contains wallet (if you can call it that...it's more of a pouch with only the essentials: debit card, credit card, work credit card, DL, and health insurance card...i can't tolerate typical huge folding wallets) and loose folded bills or change (if any).

front strong-side pocket contains cell phone, sometimes a speed strip, and a gel-ink pen (my most important daily carry item, frankly).

no flashlight. keys are clipped to strong-side belt loop.

Well when I carry out of state:

Weapon: Springfield Champion SS
Holster(s): Don hume IWB leather, or g-code IWB
Magazines:3 total
Flashlight: Streamlight scorpion
Lighter: Zippo SS
Knife: Gerber para 4" folder (maintenance worker), and a CRKT m-13D (social worker)

For hunting season:
weapon:HK USP 45
Mags: 3 total
Knives: same
Holster: Don hume IWB and don hume mag holster with don hume gun belt
or I carry with my uncle mikes kydex

I dont use any special ammo just 230 ball.

Primary gun (revolver) with laser. Pocket holster. Spare ammo.

Secondary gun (semi-auto) with laser and tritium. IWB holster. Spare ammo.

(Caliber and make? Not sure it matters that much. As long as they work.)

Flashlight.

Cell phone.

Knife.

Kubotan.

(I'd like to carry some OC, but it's hard to find space for; so, I usually just keep a can in the car, and one easy to access at home).

Walther PPK in .380 acp, either in my front right pocket in a Desantis Nemesis or OWB @4 o'clock in a Desantis mini scabbard.

When I can't have a gun (legally, anyhow) I carry a yawara stick. 10 years of Judo will hopefully count for something if it needs to.

If I'm working it's my Bersa Thunder CC in an uncle mikes IWB holster. I used to pocket carry it but I need to put stuff in my pockets for work.

If I'm going out any other time I carry my Stoeger Cougar in an Uncle Mike's IWB. If I carry an extra mag it's usually just in my left front pocket. I usually just like to travel light.

Mak in Nemesis

For regular concealed carry, Russian Mak in .380 sitting in a Nemesis holster.

I know, it's NOT a .45, but then again, it's reliable, concealable, and reliable.

Did I mention reliable? It's also accurate. Nine rounds of high quality HP ammo is minimal in my opinion, but I don't look for trouble and I don't consider the Mak an assault rifle. Having the Mak for self defense is way better than not carrying my 1911.:scrutiny:

No, I don't carry an extra mag. Most folks carry nothing and are entirely aware of anything. I'm ahead on both counts.

XD 45 Service with a UBG holster. Great weapon and a great holster.
There may be better holsters but I will be darn if I am going to wait 6 months or longer to buy one.

Kimber CDP Ultra
Galco Combat Master
Don Hume Mag carrier with two reloads
On a Wilderness 1 3/4" 5 stitch instructors belt

Springfield XD40 with 12 +1
Two extra mags (another 24 rounds)
Speer Gold Dot 165 grain JHP
Bianchi Carry-lok holster
Kershaw Whirlwind knife
Blackberry

I plan to add a Surefire 9P flashlight soon.

S&W 1911 5" Bbl. Stainless Steel .45 ACP
Milt Sparks #Axiom OWB holster
Milt SParks Single IWB mag holder
Milt SParks 1 1/2" Belt

R-

My typical office wear is an untucked polo with jeans, so I have much carry flexibility-

Full size 1911 of one variety or another IWB in a Rosen ARG
Spare magazine OWB
Beltman belt
S&W 637 in a Galco Ankle Glove
Streamlight TL-2 OWB if dark or approaching dark
SOG Trident
SOG Flash
Wallet
Keys
Blackberry

On the rare occasions I have to go and meet with a client (once a month or so) I drop the 1911 and just carry the 637.

S&W 642 in a Mika pocket holster. A speed strip for extra amunition. A Buck 55 mini folding hunter. Also sometimes a S&W model 12 in a owb holster.

3913 with two spare mags, Cold Steel medium voyager, VSAK Huntsman, minimag flashlight. Sometimes a BUG a SW640 .38spl with two speed-strips.
9MM ammo is Federal 115grHP, .38spl. is 158gr SWCHP.

My new rig

S&W 3913 in a Don Hume IWB holster, HK/Benchmade folder and sometimes a Kel Tec P3AT in a Don Hume pocket holster.

When I OC:
Pistol - Ruger P89 9x19mm
Holster - Fobus Paddle Holster
Belt - Something from Wal-Mart
Mags - Ruger factory 15 rounders
Ammo - Winchester Ranger 147 gr JHP in the gun and Winchester Ranger 124 gr +P+ JHP in the spare mag
Mag Pouch - Uncle Mike's nylon covered kydex filled snap closure pouch.

When I CC:
Pistol - FEG PA-63 9x18mm
Holster - Belly Band
Mags - Factory 7 Rounders
Ammo - S&B 95 Grain FMJ (I may upgrade to CorBon Pow'r Ball later)

Primary rig with pants and a shirt that can cover is a Taurus PT1911 in a Bianchi IWB don't remember the model off the top of my head but its the suede model with a thumb snap. Light is a Garrity LED in aluminum, its a thick three cell (3 AAA's) with a bottom button. I picked it up at walmart and I like it. Knife is a Kershaw Blur (black model)

Secondary is a Springfield SC in .40 S&W tucked into a DeSantis IWB, black nylon rig with the spare clip slot forward of the weapon. Still usually tuck the Kershaw and the same light. I will occasionally slip my old buck two blade folder into my pocket when I'm wearing tighter pants that make the grip on the kernshaw a pain to get my hand in and out of my pocket.
