Yep for the calibers I shoot it did indeed go up, from $12.88 to a bit over $14...

Some harder metals with a plastic/teflon outer layer to engage the rifling.

Tungsten with nylon driving band... though that would make AP ammo...

So what they're (those funny people in the big building in DC) doing is working their way to eliminate ammo in one form or another by ruling out the materials one can use for ammo...
