Hi All,
I'm a 35-year old non-hunter suburbia-dweller patriot that enjoys shooting/owning firearms. I live in California, so I can't carry. So far, I have the following:
Rem 870 w/ surefire forend/iron sights
Mini-14 w/red dot
.40 cal handgun
.357 revolver
I know that I have enough to protect me and my family in any conceivable situation, yet I have the urge to get something more long-distace capable (bolt, Browning BAR). Do I really need to spend another $700 or so on a rifle when I could do other things w/ the money (pay off my car faster!). In reality, what situation that I'm likely to be in would actually require a 150-400 yd shot? No disrespect to those with large collections of rifles
Thanks!
