FN High Power Mk3 made and assembled in Belgium. I've also got a FM Detective which is my daily carry gun. Sorry I'm at work I'll post pictures when I get home tomorrow.

Chalk up another shooter of the Hi-Power. I ahve the FN, FM, FEG PJK-9HP and FP9, the Bulgarian Arcus (nice pistol for the price, blocky but reliable), Inglis (No2 MkI*), and an Indian L1A (does that make it a clone of a clone, or a second cousin to the Hi-Power?). I also have a couple of the Israeli Kareen pistols (original and a Mark II). Added an Argentine contract FN a while back (nice pistol, not shot much).

My favorite shooter is a FN slide with night-sights, riding on an FM frame, Spegel grips complete the package.

I would like to nominate John Moses Browning as a Higher Power.

Great Idea

I've got the SFS equipped FN Hi Power. CDNN sold it to me for 4 bills.

Now to get a 9mm conversion barrel. Hot +p+ should be safe on this Hi-Power considering the beefed up slide to handle .40.

Love High Powers. It and 1911s are the only pistols I own multiple examples of.

With the BHP, I've got a 1961-vintage all FN, all Belgian P-35 (internal extractor, ring hammer), plus a much more recent Browning roll marked HP Standard and HP Mk3. This thread reminds me a need to do a group photo of the three sometime soon . . .

The finest semiauto pistol ever, IMHO.

Yep. :)

Actually just got another one last week. It's an FM-Argentine M95 Classic, which was to replace the FM M90 that I owned, loved, and sold last summer. :banghead: This makes it my 3rd HP that I currently own, 5th that I've ever owned. It's a keeper. I'll have pics of that one soon.

In the meantime, I'm headed out to shoot it. :D

Hey Stinger1, what kind of custom work was done on those two barrels? I swear I have seen those before. What is the advantage of those?

I'd like to submit my application for membership too!:)

Have a BHP practical & love it, it's like an extension of my arm!

I'd also like to know what kind of grips that Stinger1 has on his BHP Practical (2nd from the top), they sure look great, especially with the Practical's color scheme!

I'm certainly not Stinger, but those are Gunner Grips made by the folks at Simonich Knives. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet, but I want to. :)

I read at the Impact Guns site that FN is no longer shipping, HP's under the FN name to the US. Does that mean that they are only selling them in the US under the Browning label?
I got no response from FN when I asked.

I'm in!

BHP MK III 9mm with new Hogue grips. Just imagine it laying on a velvet surface with enhancing light and a sparkle on the end of the barrel. Also, laying next to my Benchmade Robo "Heat" knife.

ONE SWEET PISTOL!

I've wanted a FN Hi-Power for years, and coincidentally yesterday went to my local gun shop with the intent to buy one. When I picked it up, a new FN, to really make a decision, I found the reach to the trigger to be a bit too long for comfort. I could just reach. I do not have small hands and have never had an issue with this in dozens and dozens of guns that I have held. Should I go back and take another look or is a long reach an aspect of the gun?

I really do want one.
