Does reloading and marriage/relationships work?

Most women (unfortunately my wife, included) do not like to shoot. But she doesn't mind me shooting, and reloading (keeps me out of her way). If your girlfriend is so anti- you had better stay clear, not only for reloading but for all shooting. If she is that pushy single she will be a tyrant married.

Hey, sometimes you just have to tell it like it is, and put those women in their place. When my wife starts to nag and complain, I simply put my foot down.

Why, take last night for instance. I came in about midnight after tossing back a few cold ones with a buddy (We had a DD of course), and the ol' lady starts giving me 'what for.'

I'm not going to lie, this is what I did...

I gave her a good listening to, locked her in the house, and slept in the pickup.

I showed her!!!

Regards,

Stinger

My wife bought me my Dillon about 15 years ago for Christmas. If that's not love, what is? ;) She also bought me extra dies and a powder scale. She's never had a problem with it. I just say I'm going upstairs to do some work, and she says OK. She knows it's the only thing I do up there. Back when I was working up .45 ACP loads and shooting upwards of 500 rounds a week, I was quite busy. She never complained. Even now after almost 30 years, she asks why I haven't been to the range lately. I think I'll keep her. She's the greatest.

Any hobby or past time is compatible with a marriage/relationship as long as you have your priorities straight. IMHO, a hobby (and I have MANY expensive ones) should never be higher than maybe #3 on your list, behind your family and job/career. Small compromises can be had, but in the end those things have to always come first.
