For what it's worth, we met in Indiana...

I don't mind granola eating bike riding hippies. No problem at all. I'm pro-recycling. I just don't see why you can't believe in the responsibilities of both the society and the individual. What's wrong with liking to recycle both your aluminum and your brass?

The problem is those that put soceity first generally believe that the betterment is at the expense of the individual. However they have a tendancy to be hipacritical in that they want to tailor soceity to their liking only.
