OK. For 12+ years I've happily carried a beautiful, customized (by me) 3 1/8 inch Ruger SP101 in a right hand pocket holster. I'm big, at 6 foot 5 inches and 294 pounds and it conceals nicely. In the last three years I became willing to wear denim shorts in warm weather and often opted for a Bond Derringer in .45 Colt during the summer.
I sometimes want to change around a bit (boredom??), weather is cold and I design and make my own leather holsters. Here are my choices to change it up. I'd just casually like input here from the voices of experience. Make a gun and holster style suggestion please. Thanks for thoughts. Don

I'm wanting a different one, but not just because I'm bored with it. I'm wanting a S&W Airweight to pocket carry because I have to wear dress slacks a lot for work. Seems the best way, as I don't care for IWB with shirt tucked in. I don't mind it outside the shirt, but then you have to keep your jacket on.

change guns/ holsters for the seasons, how i am dressed and where i am going.

i most always carry a second; usually a 332 or 642 in my off side vest or coat pocket.
pockets having been reinforced & enlarged to hold the revolver in place.

strong side may be IWB or OWB and small as a Shield or larger such as a P239/40 or a Commander 45acp.

i'll change when something better comes along, not out of boredom

i have a 357 Sig bbl for my 40...
you seem to like 357 revolvers so my suggestion will be
for you to try a 357 in Sig.

the 125gr out of a 4" bbl performs equal to the same in a revolver and the perceived recoil (for me) is much less making for faster accurate follow-up shots. and generally you carry more rounds in the semi: win/win if the P239 fits you.

Yes I do. Just bought another carry gun yesterday, an S&W Airweight. It's my first carry revolver. Just wanted something different.

Variety does several things for you. It gets you used to carrying different guns. They give you some versatility in your dress--match the gun to the occasion. More importantly, different guns teach you different lessons about handgun shooting. You come away a better shooter.
