Ruger Vaquero 44 magnum, 7.5 inch though I'd like to get a 5.5 as well.

But only because Colt didn't make an SAA 44 mag.

Ruger Old Models WITHOUT the lousy safety refurbish!

Second would be a Colt SAA clone I had under the Interarms Virginian name, that was an early one made by Hammerli. One slick thumb-buster!

My smooth as silk American Western Arms Texas Longhorn in .45 lc. That is until the front trigger guard screw worked it's way out unnoticed by me and AWA of course has gone out of business and no parts are available so now i have to "experiment" with parts from other guns.

The Colt SAA 5-1/2" .44 Spl. in nickel plate I bought new in 1970 and shouldn't have sold. :banghead:

I like almost all of them, my Blackhawks, Supers, Vaqueros...but the best is the Freedom Arms Model 83. It just simply is the best.

I guess it is favorite, and not best, so I'll vote Super Blackhawk.

Ruger Single Six. No, it's not a security or big game gun. It is, however, the best at everything else.

Ruger Super Blackhawk. Disregard that pesky Contender that wouldn't get out of the picture. All .44 magnums. Two OMs and and two NMs.

As much as I love my SBH and Single Six, I have to choose my Lipsey's Blackhawk Flattop .44 Special.

This is like asking which one of your kids is your favorite. My current favorite has to be a Ruger Super Blackhawk hunter model in .41 magnum. This answer is only good until the next one comes along.

You shooting a squirrel? lol I don't think my arm goes that high when I shoot full-house .44 mag loads with my left hand.

I like my Rodeo the best. It is a very early one, USFA told me it has a Uberti frame in 4135 steel. Which is not a great selling point, but the sucker is accurate, smooth action, shoots to point of aim, and has an excellent trigger.

Very easy to pack.

I guess my next favorite is my Lipsey's 44 Spl Blackhawk.

I would have to say that my favorite so far is my American Western Arms Peacemaker in .45 colt. It fits like a glove and fires great.

Second favorite is my Uberti .38 special mason conversion.
