Hey guys,

i just want to share this with you and also want to hear your thoughts about it.

I have owned semi autos all my life and have not a few revolvers in my life but never actually bought one for myself. Always about to buy one but every time ended up postponing it.

Last night a friend of mine and i were talking and he mentioned the Heritage Rough Rider .22lr/.22WM and showed me an add for one for $124.99 with free shipping and a $20 rebate. Then i saw the 6.5” Black Pearl edition and it pushed me over the edge. I felt in love with it and for only $129 ($109 after rebate and free shipping) i went ahead and bought it on the spot. I usually don’t impulse buy, but the time, price and looks was right.

what’s your thoughts about this single action revolver?

My thoughts are that you just opened a new can of worms in revolver fever…..enjoy the addiction..:D

Enjoy it. During the early and mid 90s my wife and I sold dozens of those in our small brick and mortar gun shop. While they are not a Ruger Single Six or S&W Model 17 as to form, fit and finish they were actually a well made good shooting revolver as to bang for the buck. New with both cylinders they was $99 retail then. They were fun to shoot so I hope you enjoy shooting yours. :)

For $110 bucks, why on Earth not?:)

I think that one is way better looking than any Wrangler!

Everyone should own at least one .22 revolver. They will eat the cheapest, lightest, most common ammo on the planet and not care about bullet weight, shape, or velocity- unlike almost all .22 autos. And even if you get a misfire, just keep on shooting.......

I saw the rebate the other day and considered buying another one. First one I got has worked well for me. When you figure the sights out you can shoot them pretty well. I’m able to get hits on my 70yd plate without much trouble with mine. I like the grips you got, nice choice. Heritage sells 22 magnum cylinders that drop right into these and sell for around $30 I think. Enjoy your new revolver

So long as it's not a hangfire or a squib.

Congratulations. You are going to love it. I never thought I wanted one but saw one at our local store for $129. I picked it up and fell in love with it. Just the sound of the clicks when pulling the hammer back was enough to get me going.

I figured I buy it to make a pattern for a holster. Glad I did because after I made mine I had a few orders.

I left the store with the Patriot Version and 2 boxes of CCI Quiet. I applied for the credit card for Sportsman's Warehouse and got another discount. Walked out the door for under $100. Can't go wrong with that.

I shot it Wednesday and it shoots great. About 3 inches at 10 yards which is my fault, not the guns. I have little problem seeing the front sight at the indoor range I go to.

I enjoy my RR – it’s been accurate and reliable.

Heritage has done a great job developing and marketing their line of budget rimfire revolvers.

To get a 22 LR revolver similar to that from Ruger or S&W you will pay somewhere from $700 to $1000 or more. That Rough Rider is a really awesome deal.
