Gunbroker

dehughes, from time to time I will look through Gunbroker or Auction Arms and window shop for some toy that's on my brain, and occasionally I find one I just have to bid on (like this one). The opening bid was for $440, and my max was $450; no one else bid, I got it. I would not have gone higher because it would no longer have been a great buy. I was outbid by $5 on a S&W M19 for $350, but I set my max and that was o.k.

It's in the mail right now - arrives tomorrow, played with till Friday, and range on Saturday...

I love my G21..it's reliable and seems pretty durable..and mags can be found everywhere..plus 13+1 of .45acp is pretty nice too. I used to be a Glock hater until I tried a buddies..I think it was a 30..the smaller frame .45..and I really liked it. It certainly pissed me off that I could shoot better with it than my Colt.

Nothing to really ellaborate on. I dont have the technical specs, because they wouldnt do me any good if I had them. I know that when I transition between my 1911's and my Glock 21 SF I do not have to "re-train" due to the grip angle. I like the reduction a lot. Several friends have had their Glock 21s reduced as well after shooting and handling mine. I have read similar reports from others that have had grip reductions performed on glocks. Some say that it is a waste of a good pistol. Some say that I will never be able to sell it to anyone. I find it interesting because there is always someone wanting to know how much I would take for it , or what it would take for me to sell it .

You'll love your 21.

My has become an old friend.

And don't me wrong, I am a fan of my 1911's, my 45 Colts, my 44 Specials, etc . . . but I choose to carry the 21 when I am on duty.

The 21 makes the trip to the range EVERY time. I shoot it as well as any of my other autoloaders. Estimate 10,000 rounds through it without a failure. Not as glamourous as the others in my opionion, but I bet my life on it's reliablity.

Picked Up The M21 Yesterday

He said it looked unfired and I have to agree. I believe it may have been test-fired, but there is no wear on any area where wear occurs. $440 plus shipping - all in all a good deal. I had received the Scherer 3.5 connector Monday (plus the Wolff 19 lb recoil spring and a spare Glock 13 rd mag) and installed it yesterday evening; big difference in felt trigger resistance, but I have to wait until Saturday to hit the range and see how it goes. In the meantime, the RL550 is cranking out some test fodder - Win 230 gr JHPs with Unique, Bullseye and AA5 for starters. I've also got my eye on a Wilson Match Grade barrel from Brownell's - the accessorizing has begun... :D
