The First Mod was the Rhinoplasty - getting rid of the horn on the front of the trigger guard that caught on reholstering in suede IWB holsters and printed.
Mod.2 was stone chamfering the exposed edges and corners of the loaded chamber indicator - it was sharp and cut up my finger and holster.
Mod.3 was secanting the backstrap "golf ball."
There is a palm swell bulge at the bottom of the backstrap that sticks proud like a golf ball.
It creates a pivot point and forces the rest of the backstrap (and trigger) away from the hand.
Normally, I have to jam my thumb forward to mold my palm back in to contact.
So I took a small sanding block, held it parallel with the backstrap checkering above the "golf ball," and sanded a secant (flat spot) into the checkering of the upper radius of the "golf ball," about half way into the checkering in the center, and then blended it out on the sides.
Now the backstrap is straight until it curves away at the heel.
...like a Glock.
The bore axis point a few degrees lower now, the same as my G23.4. The the trigger is just enough closer that it puts it solidly on the last pad, instead of barely.
And grip pressure now goes into the entire web and backstrap... instead of just the wobbly "golf ball" palm swell.
...like a Glock.
'Uge difference for a little nerve and Fifteen(15) minutes diddle-screwing with a sanding block.
Before (Mod.1):
Will post Mod.3 pics in future.
