The entity known as me!
Hi everyone, I'm the Human Being known as Winston Ward Johnson. I have exercised my natural, absolutel, inherent and inalienable rights since June 3, 1993. One of my most important rights is the right of self-defense, I exercise this right on a daily basis without permission from any government agency. My youngest son and I own property in Monroe County, Kentucky and we both carry in the open as we travel about the county. Kentucky's Bill of Rights, Section 1, No. 7 reads: "The right to bear arms in defense of themselves and of the State, subject to the power of the General Assembly to enact laws to prevent persons from carrying concealed weapons." Section 2: "Absolute and arbitrary power over the lives, liberty and property of freemen exists nowhere in a republic, not even in the largest majority. Section 26: "To guard against transgression of the high powers which we have delegated, We Declare that every thing in this Bill of Rights is excepted out of the general powers of government, and shall forever remain inviolate; and all laws contrary thereto, or contrary to this Constitution, shall be void."
On July 17, 2003 the 'rule of law' was upheld in Monroe County, Kentucky! Sheriff Jerry Gee upheld his oath of office by supporting Kentucky's Bill of Rights concerning the right to carry weapons in the open without any 'license' or 'permit'! My son got an apology from deputy Darrell Ford for attempting to violate my son's right to do so. To make our point my son wore his pistol into the Monroe County courthouse (which is where the Sheriff's Department is located) for his meeting with Jerry Gee and Darrell Ford. Kentucky's Bill of Rights is a major reason that we bought property in Kentucky 4 years ago, it is very effective in defending our natural, absolute, inherent and alienable rights! So hats off to Jerry Gee, Sheriff of Monroe County, Kentucky!!!:D

suijurisfreeman welcome to THR. Glad to hear things are good in KY and your county in particular. I'll give you one tip (just look at the threads in the forums). If you want to get replies don't post a pro-law enforcement thread, nobody's interested in good cops ;)

TheeBadOne,
In my 10 year struggles to live my life as a Free Human Being I have seen VERY FEW 'good cops', so I personally know all about 'bad cops'! However when once in a 'blue moon' a LEO actually upholds his oath of office and OBEYS the Bill of Rights and/or Constitution then I'm more than willing to acknowledge that fact! In the case of my son Winston, Jerry Gee, Sheriff of Monroe County, Kentucky did just that, I even placed a letter to the editor in the Tompkinsville newspaper to let the people of Monroe County know about this 'incident' with my son.

I have actually lived my life as a Free Human Being since 1993, I have harmed absolutely no one in doing so! My struggle has not been an easy one, but I have prevailed in exercising my rights! I haven't been 'arrested' since September of 1995 for exercising my rights, so I've gotten better at what I'm doing. If we are going to have government, civil society, then We the People must hold public official's feet to the fire of the Bill of Rights and/or Constitution! Public officials are PRESUMED to be 'acting in good faith' in the performance of their duties, that's why it's almost impossible to sue one of them, however if they are properly served Constructive Notice that their actions are in fact a violation of the Bill of Rights, Constitution or any 'law' they then lose their 'good faith immunity' and can be personally held liable for their unlawful actions! That's the beauty of Constructive Notice!

Well I salute you sir. There are many more who look past this and seek only the negative to bring to light.

Pityparty there, Theebadone?

There are very many of us here that support the majority of good cops trying to do a difficult and dangerous job using their brains and a good attitude.

I hope you'd agree that it only takes a few "bad apple" stories to poison the well of good will. Pardon the tortured metaphors.

I think the LEOs on THR represent the finest of the bunch, FWIW. Even Agricola...for a Brit. :D

Leatherneck,

I don't have a problem with LEO's unless they attempt to violate my rights! Then we have a serious problem! In Hillsdale, Michigan I was told by Phylis Ramie (sp), she was a deputy for the Sheriff's Department, her husband Sam was a dective for the Sheriff's Department that many of those in the Sheriff's Department agreed with what I was doing! But, and that's a big butt, they all had their retirement to think about! And like I told them, you've sold your soul to the devil!
