Hey if you've got it why not flaunt it every now and then? That's one awe inspiring collection!
Thank you. I bought it used 11 years ago for my son. A few years later he was going to sell it to buy a "better" 1911. I'm very glad I bought it from him because it's a great gun and I like shooting it.AACD
Very nice! Reminds me a lot of my Springfield Armory M1911A1, only your's looks a lot more nicely polished and blued than mine!
Here is a pic of 2 of mine ... .629 44mag & Bulldog .44spl:

All my Blackhawks carry Pachmayrs. Wouldn't feel right without them.OOooooh, that's nice. Have you ever though of some micarta grips for it or does she recoil too much for that to be an option?
The Star PD was carried alot for a long time, there is finish wear, but I baby my guns. The Shield is currently replacing it, it is tupperware and a throw away gun if I happen to carry it with out a permit never happened so far tho. The others are sporadically carried, remember I say I keep my guns in good shape and have excellent holsters for them since early 70s. I have had some "Ranch " gun's one of which was a 4 5/8 Ruger three Screw flat top which I wore the finish of a lot, not as much as the one above tho, that is beautiful. Yes a full on .357 is a heavy hitter, it was designed from the get go as such.Interesting pictures of a bunch of guns without holster wear. Curious how you make that happen.
