I would recommend that what ever pistols you are interested in, you try to rent one first. A lot of ranges do this. I tried most of the MICRO 9's and found them to be uncomfortable. I can shoot them, but I do not enjoy it. I rented about 4 different models and did not buy any of them after trying them. They are good guns, but not for me. I ended up buying SIG 365 and use the HORNADY Lite 100 grain FTX ammo, but recoil is still strong for me and I ended up carrying my GL:OCK 42 off duty a lot more and my GLOCK 19 issue pistol too and from work.
On weekends, I would usually carry a BERETTA 92 Compact or SIG 229 as these are much nicer pistols too shoot and I practice with them often.
So, my advice is try before you buy and shoot at least 50 rounds. If at the end of the shooting session, you would have no problems shooting another 50 round, you are good to go with that pistol. If not, try something else.
Good luck,
Jim
