I didn't like it.Why did you sell it?
I think they're providing an important, and fairly large, niche product. There have always been inexpensive guns, and despite what people say about the "ignorant" and crime, they're not making them for dimwits and gangsters. They're making them for people who need them but can't afford something better. For that, I'm glad they exist.
They're also good for trying out a design or caliber that you don't want to risk a bunch of money on.
All that said, my dad has a 9mm carbine kit and really enjoys it, almost to the point of being proud. I've shot it and it does what it's supposed to.
This weekend I sold my Hi Point JHP .45 acp, and
now I am officially Hi Point-less.
No plans to ever get such a low cost weapon again. Well,
not their handguns but, I might get one of the carbines
some day
