I think its funny that so many of you see a hoodie as "thug" apparel. Its a standard item here. My grandma wears one. She is not "gangsta".
Its not the clothing choice that was suspicious, it was him covering his face.
What's that?
Deaf
And, as Gen. Mattis would say, have a plan to kill them if necessary.I don't think Deaf Smith is being at all unreasonable. We watch everyone, right?
the idea about roofers, is they don't get 800 degree tar on their body, I've seen thousands of roofers, and construction workers, they all have great tans, because they are usually shirtless..
I must be blind then....Evil-Twin
Uhhhh No.
1st off the tar is no more than about 500 degrees because the flash point is about 560 degrees. You're 260 degrees wrong.
When its 120+ and the UV index is that high, the shirtless guys are lobster red with cancer/pre-cancer spots on their backs.
In that area they DO NOT hot mop any pitched roofs because it seeps and sags down.
These are all pitched roofs with tile over tar paper. Only flat patios covers mght get hot mopped there.
The "highest softening temp" hot mop tar is available is just over 200 degrees.
.
My A/C guy wont go into the attic if its over 180. Yes, he has refused work several times.
Vented attics get over 200 degrees there
Ahhhh.... what am I doing... you probably have no clue because you haven't been in that type of environment for any length of time or know anything about roofs.
Here some info if you want to know what your talking about..

This is Texas sonny, high temps and HIGH HUMIDITY."...have all my teeth..." 61. Have 'em all too. Most are in an envelope. HAHAHAHA.
It's not a fashion statement or a gang uniform. Long sleeves and hats are about keeping yourself from getting burned and avoiding heat related issues.
Anybody working in a shop that is prone to being robbed gets to recognize the bad guys by their body language. Isn't about their hat.
I must be blind then....
Most children and those of very low self esteem, will quote facts from an internet search in exacting parameters as if they knew it all by them self....
Agree 100 percent.IM not going to argue generalities over exacting facts... ... its what kids do ...I find that children in forums will take a comment and hope to find some fault with it.. then go to the internet to find just how off the facts are from the comment... Most children and those of very low self esteem, will quote facts from an internet search in exacting parameters as if they knew it all by them self.... your type stick out like a sore thumb to those of us who are well educated...
MY point was for the non roofer, walking down the street on a 90+ day with the hood up, hands in pockets and sun glasses, will get my attention every time just like all the cops in my community with give them.
If looks like a duck it could be a duck. If it looks like a duck AND acts like a duck AND sounds lie a duck.... its probably a duck
Don't judge a man by his hoodie. Judge him by his actions. Evaluate the whole scenario in its entirety.
