I'm sorry, but I don't purposely embarrass myself in public unless it's for money.I was trying to think of a prize, maybe a random gun product related sticker I got with purchases? Yeah that sounds good. I'll send the winner a sticker.
4Okay, admittedly an inconsequential topic, but maybe fun. My son counted these for me, and we took guesses beforehand at how many there were.
What is your guess??
Answer will be revealed at 6pm mst on Sunday the 6th.

Assuming about 9 cases per 1 cubic inch I'm thinkin' 2500 cases!
I didn’t think of it from a volume standpoint. 6x10x4 ~ the size of that Berry’s box and depth of fill would be ~ 240 cubic inches. My mental CI to gallon standard, the old Buick Grandnational had a 3.8 liter/231 cubic inch/1 gallon engine in it.
Thanks for the gallon zip lock info!
On average a 9mm case weighs, with spent primer 59.46gr/ea, 117.7cases/#, 8.5#/1000cases.
A 1 gallon zip lock bag holds ~ 1836 cases. 240/231= 1.038x1836 = 1907.5 cases
240-231= 9ci x 9pcs/ci = 81 pcs + 1836 /gal = 1917 cases
It falls within how I came up with my guess.
A SPP ~ 2.5 grains.
An empty Berry’s box that size will weigh around 7.2 oz, filled with deprimed mix brass, 4” deep, the contents (minus box weight) are 15 lbs 14.8 oz or 15.925 lbs.
15.925 lbs x 7000 gn (per pound) = 111,475gn / 59.46 = 1874.789 cases with primer.
111,475 gn / 56.96 [59.46 - 2.5] = 1957.075 cases without primer.
