I filled out three 4473s, but only two guns were added to my collection.

Interesting how many guns this poll records. There are over a thousand guns represented in the 215 voters in this poll!!:D

Bought five guns (what I voted), inherited two, and will probably buy another before the year is up. This is my first year with my permit so I had a lot of catching up to do. Next year won't come near that number.

Bought one gun this year... and sold one, so I guess I broke even. I have my first child on the way, so money is tight. All extra cash went towards practice ammo not guns.

I bought 2. A Mosin Nagant M38, and a Nagant 1895 revolver.

My wife bought me a Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle at Walmart for Christmas.

Zero.

If you had asked me how many thousands of rounds of ammo I fired in 2009...

Mossberg 535 12 gauge shotgun
Taurus 651 .357 magnum
Beretta U22 Neos .22 pistol
SGL21 7.62x39 rifle
3 Red Ryder BB guns - Christmas gifts.

I aint telling nobody and since there's no gun registration, nobody needs to know. I might have bought one and had it stolen before I got home, therefore no paper trail.
BATF knows whether you believe there are no registries or not. The records are never destroyed, and if you did something, they can and would go search and find any you ever bought, from their archives. Its not a registry by definition ofcourse, but who cares, it is what it is, and can serve similar purposes if need be.
