Accurate No 9
IMR 700X
Ramshot Competition
Hodgdon H380
Hodgdon H414
Hodgdon H335
Pyrodex FFFG
Goex FFFG
Hodgdon Triple Seven

Most of those I'm still on my first pound of though. Only ones I've used up a whole bottle of and needed more of are Unique (on 2nd jug now), Titegroup (also 2nd jug), and Bullseye (on my 4th jug now).

About 30 1 lb can, a few 8 lbs and 1 5 lb.

I have been trying to use up those darn 1 lbs ones for a while. My goal by the end of the year is to be below a dozen powders.

1 lb of H110
2 lbs of Reloader 15
1.5 lbs. Bullseye
1 lb of IMR 4395
1 lb of IMR 800x
I'm stoked about finding the reloader 15. Just finished a bottle of IMR 4350 and Accurate 2460

Wow, we are truly among the connoisseurs of smokeless here.
I would like to only have a few, but given the supply, I've had to stock various rifle and pistol powders beyond my favorites.

Pistol -
Win 231 - Preferred for most of my pistol loads, trying to make it last until supply improves
WST - been using for 9mm, 38 spcl, 40 S&W
Promo/Red Dot - next load
WSF
Unique
2400
IMR 4227

Rifle
RL-15 - preferred
BL(C)-2 - preferred
LT32 - working up 223 loads -- should be fine for plinking and general range fodder
IMR 4227 for 300 BLK
RL-17
RL-19
IMR 4831
IMR 4064
IMR 4895
XMR 4064
H335
AA1680
TAC

Man, that's a bunch.

Am I the only person with Zip? It's a good one.

I'd gladly try it if I could find some on the shelf :).

Every place online seems sold out of everything but 50BMG powder and black powder substitute.

The local shops seem to have a workable supply of powder for larger hunting type rounds (you might not be able to find a specific powder, but they have something that will work). Anything to load small rifle (.223) or common pistol calibers with is not to be found though.

IMR 4227
IMR 4064
Varget
Ram Hunter
Ram Big Game
Titegroup
Bullseye

Need to buy another lb of 4227 and Hunter but can't find either.

I have thirty-one different powders on the shelves....all acquired before the present craziness.

In reading the "lists" of powders it reminds me of a cigar smoker I once knew. He had this one brand of cigar he absolutely loved. Rather than just smoking that one brand he kept trying all kinds of different ones.

He sure smoked a bunch of crappy cigars when all along he could have just been enjoying the one he found early.

I think shooters are a lot like this guy. Always trying "something different" and in the end having all kinds of powder in partially used containers under the bench.

Here's my stock at the moment. It's...eclectic.

Clays
Power Pistol
W231
Rex II
AA Plus
WAP
Accurate #7
3N37
Silhouette
TAC Rifle

I'm not much for experimenting when thousands of people have done it for me already. :)

HP-38
Unique
HS-6
Trail Boss
AA2230
H335
CFE 223
IMR 4895

I think you're right. One day I'd like to settle on a few, but right now it aint happening.

Amlevin,

Not quite why I have so many... Some I got from when a friend of mine got out of reloading, some were from when a local store got rid of their reload supplies - cheap!
And now, it's been the case of not finding what I want/prefer, when I want, so I've had to buy substitutes to keep loading and not burn up all the favorites too quickly.
For example, Win231 is great (for me) across nearly all my pistol calibers, but others like WST will not work for 380 and 38 Super, but will work for 9, 40, 38 spcl and 45 ACP. So, I'll use up the WST on the ones it will work in and leave the Win231 for the others. I picked up Promo/Red Dot until I can get more Win231.
In rifles -- it's much harder to consolidate as I load a lot of different calibers and no one powder will really do it all. What works great in 223 might not be good in 7.7 Jap, and so forth.

When powder was available, I used 3 powders for all my reloading needs.

Now that so many are made of unobtainium, I have 10.
(had to try new powders just cuz the stanrd ones weren't available)

4 or 5 of those will be very old & unused when powder becomes available again.
(just because I'm not thrilled with the results.)

BUT - How are you to know for sure you have the best cigar and powder unless you try others?

Example, I used W231 for A LOT of years in the .45 Colt until 2 years ago when I gave HS-6 a try. I now use nothing other than HS-6 in the 45 Colt but unless I tried it, I couldn't have known...

Universal (Holding my last unopend pound just can't bring myself to use it!)
7625 (almost gone)
4756 (almost gone)
Unique (been using this al ot some was available at my LGS)
Bullseye
Longshot
8208X
BLC2 (almost gone)
H335
H4831

I was happy with Universal for pistol but none is available (or has been for awhile):banghead:

I maybe mistaken but I thought I heard 7625 and 4756 are being discontinued. :(

Clays, Universal Clays, and International Clays should start showing up around the end of this year. That's when the mass-hysteria will kick in for people like me who really like Clays. The shortage is due to a fire at the ADI plant in Australia early last year that affected only the Clays products.

4756, 4759, 7625, and PB are all being discontinued. I believe that the last of it has already been manufactured, but hasn't made it to distribution yet.
