here in PA its called a LTCF not CCW LTCF means License To Carry Firearms , its same as a CCW permit. here in PA yes they have photo IDs but each sheriff form each county varies some just give plain card with no ID and some give laminated photo ID's
i think it will change soon to help police identify the LTCF person, in a few years all of PA will have Photo IDs
There is a current wave of freedom being expressed in this great country of ours. We can join that wave in the political arena now or be forced to join it on the battlefield later.
NJ does technically have a CCW, however you have to be rich, LEO, retired LEO or be drinking/poker buddies with a judge that has enough pull to get you one. Other then that it's virtually impossible to get one.
As far as pictures goes, I don't know. I've seen more pictures of a real life Bigfoot then I have NJ CCWs.
Please note that Alabama does not have a standardized licensing process statewide. The Sheriff of each individual county is responsible for permit issuance and the physical licenses, process, and even fees vary widely from county to county.
For example, where I live (Elmore County, very rural) the license is a simple paper form printed on a computer printer right there in the SO, no photo, no lamination; in other counties, they are laminated and have a photo. They cost me $20 a year and can be renewed by mail; some SOs charge more, some less. (And, FWIW, some SOs put restrictions on their county's permits that cannot be backed up at all by state statute. )
My wife and I just received our new permits in the mail last week, so no it hasn't recently changed here.
