249 per year.

That gets me unlimited use of the range and free use of the rental guns.

I pay for ammo and targets of course.
Okay Warren, where in NorCal are you?

Here in Rockford, IL we have a private indoor pistol range. There are actually 3 ranges in the building. Membership is $130 per year, but if you volunteer some hours you can get a reduction. You also have to maintain your NRA membership to be a club member. Once a member, you can use the range 24/7, 365 days a year. Its heated for the winter, but no A/C in the summer, but I still think its a great deal.

Our local range charges $10 per session, or $87 for 10 sessions in advance. No such thing as membership.

No time limit, but ammunition, targets, eyes, and ears are extra; provided you dont bring your own.

OR, for $5 worth of gass, i can drive to the free outdoor range maintained by the DNR.

RANGE COST

2 typse of memberships

memberships
1st 99.00 per yr and 3 bucks per visit unlimited time during day or 199 per year unlimited acess

non-members
10 per hour ....

these high prices here make me want to move out of state, lol. but i know it aint worth it just for that.

$80/year for unlimited use of all facilities. Outdoor and indoor pistol. Rifle ranges to 600 yds. Trap and skeet, $2 a game unless you bring your own clays, then $0. Bring your own targets, guns, ammo. None are sold by the club.

Membership is $50 for the year, and they ask for a $2 donation to maintain the backstop each time you use the indoor range, which is 50', 10 lanes, usually deserted and open for use 24/7 (as a member you get the clubhouse combo, everything is self serve, no rangmaster bs). Also included in member fees is free use of 175yd rifle range, free use of the automated trap-range (supply your own bids and operate it yourself),free 50yd bowrange, and free use of the clubs stocked pond and 300 acres of hunting land. Seems like a pretty good deal seeing the prices some of you pay, but then again it is rural upstate ny.

$35/year individual (going up to $40 next year) $50/family (not going up) for the fish and game club. Used to ask but not enforce a 5 hour work assesment or $50, that's changing to a flat $10 fee for everyone to get a range badge. Includes 8 cowboy action lanes, 8 125 yard rifle lanes with covered benches, 2 pistol lanes (one has cover), a .22 lane with permanent spinner targets, trap, archery, campground, fishing pond, and a clubhouse with bar. Free target stands, free cardboard and usually targets. Guests can shoot once per year per guest. Cold range except for "known IDPA or Cowboy shooters". No full-auto, max 10 round rapid-fire strings. Open 9-7 (or dark) except Sunday 9-5.

About 2 days a month the cowboy shooters tie up the whole range, but other than that I've never seen a wait. Can't complain about the cowboys, since they are responsible for resurrecting the club.

Maury county gun club, Columbia Tennessee, 95.00 per year unlimited. 5.00 per visit for non-members up to 3 visits. 3 pistol berms 1 200 yard rifle range and 5 trap and skeet ranges.

I am currently a student in NY, so I've decided not to become a member of the range I frequent when I'm home.

I don't get an itemized receipt, but typical costs:
  • lane for an hour - $20
  • gun rental for an hour - $15 (until I move out I can't get my own gun.) :cuss:
  • targets - typically 5 @ $0.30ea - $1.5 (I could get cheaper targets, but I like this target and it wouldn't make that much difference)
  • 3 boxes of 9mm (range gun, range ammo) i'll guess about $20 total
With tax that's about $60. If only I could put that extra $15+/visit towards a new gun...:banghead:

bestest deal i've ever had.

50 bucks annual, private/locked outdoor rural facility.

unlimited range time.

guests, no charge with member.

25 yard pistol range.

two 50 yard lanes.

ten 100 / 200 yard tables.

one two sided 300 yard table.

i like it! :D

Yes they charged me $12.95 for a box of .22 and I didn't realize it until they showed me the ticket.
I threw a fit and told them a box is $3.00 and they wouldnt budge.
They also tried to sell me a "silencer" so ....

$30.00 a year Private Outdoor Club, Locked Gate, NO RO!!!!!! Unlimited guests at no charge. 50, 150, 300 yard rifle, 5-50 yard pistol, Trap.
I can shoot for free at my place or many friends places but I like to go to the range. I have met some very good friends and have shot many guns I wouldn't have had the chance to shoot.

Two local clubs in Kalamazoo County. The membership fees are $75 per year, no range fees to use the outdoor ranges. One club has 7, 10, 15, 25, 50 & 100 yard ranges as well as skeet, trap, and five stand shotgun ranges. The other club has an up to 15 yard range, a 25 & 50, and a 50 to 200 yard range plus a modest trap facility and sporting clays in the woods. Only the first club has a decent indoor range with proper ventilation which is only open with an RSO for specified events such as bullseye, practical pistol, smallbore rifle, with a range fee of $4 for members and $7 for non-members.

Closest indoor range to me charges $150 per year with no range fees. I believe they have a family membership now for $250.

$65/year to join + $5/for all day-members $20/all day non-members
