Well, I can't see any point using common screws if they aren't at least blued, and preferably clocked to align slots (by cutting the screw heads after final assembly). So there!Yes, appearing straight from Home Depot.
Yes, appearing straight from Home Depot. Perhaps that's a personal quark of mine but it bugs me and bugs me a lot! I don't need a hex or Torx screw but please at least make it a flat head. It's like sporting sandals while wearing a three piece suit. The irk-factor is much subdued when paired with a $140 Hi Point, but for something that can cost 20 times that? Like nails on a chalk board.
It nearly drives me to drink.

Nope, me neither. I see no similiarity with a HiPoint except that both are butt-ugly.......
My thoughts as well.Oooo, yeah totally missed it. I don't find the gun at all attractive, so having the wrong head type on the grip screw doesn't bother me.
Hard to spot ugly on ugly. Can't believe you guys didn't spot that sooner.
I personally like Phillips and Flat heads.
As a Jeep owner, I have pure hatred for Torx.
I see this as a win.
..and just like that heads exploded over the head of a screw.
