What is that old saying: "I do not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"?
Oh I agree with you, its just I seem to recall something about the 1st A doesn’t protect speech that creates a clear and imminent danger. I know it’s a legal question and in this case the speech is protected because there is no imminent danger. It’s just that some speech can be so compelling as to set into motion certain events as to change the course of human history. Freedom of speech for the most part is good, but often times used in opposition. I’m not opposing the 1stA in anyway shape or form, just exploring the boundaries.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, they paint homeschoolers as abusive, drug dealers. This, despite the fact that homeschooled kids routinely outperform their government school counterparts in academics. After all, we can't have the kiddies believing that they don't need a nanny state to do everything for them.

As for these 2 kids, hopefully they will be able to experience life outside of the influence of their looney parents and see that people are the same regardless of paint job.

School isn't and shouldn't be solely about education. Home schooling usually is. Any idiot could easily teach their kid more in one day than they learn in a week at school. School is mainly about social interaction. I could pick out every single home schooled kid in my first year of college. Not a single one had any social skills what so ever.

The biggest mistake that the white supremicist continue to make is to have any association with the Klan or the Nazi movements.

Just out of curiosity, is this music more or less racist than the gangsta rap glorified on MTV, given Grammy awards, and used as the basis for a lifestyle?

Silly LawDog ... don't you know its impossible for black people to be racist? Chuck D said so!

Their website: prussianblue.net/

I'm tempted to get a t-shirt made that has, printed in big letters on front and back, the word JEW on it, and show up to their next show in Bakersfield.

Nah, not worth my time.

*Let's not give them any unearned publicity. :)*

I've known quite a few home schooled kids, some had great social skills because their parents made sure they had healthy social interactions, and some as you stated did not.

It's really a case by case issue.
In this case the mom is a looney and these girls are being done a disservice, as far as I can tell.

I don't pay taxes for the social education of kids. They can get that lots of places outside of school. No need for wasting my tax money for that.

I think you also need to realize that you just picked out some of the home school kids. You missed all the ones that didn't fit your stereotype. I knew lots of kids in regular school that were misfits as well.

It just doesn't sit well with me that you act like all kids are supposed to fit some sort of social mold. That just seems wrong and is probably why a lot of this PC crap and other stuff is so prevalent these days. I am not trying to dump on you personally. I just have seen similar comments before.

Some of you people scare me....

and sound similar to the,"There should be a law," crowd:uhoh:!!!! These things always bring out the few lurkers with,"Leftist leanings/tendencies"....Where's my popcorn, because some of it would be funny if it didn't sound so close to what the Politi-cons espouse about The Second:uhoh:...

it is just music.
just like 'grand theft auto' is just a video game.

people are free to hate whomever they want, and talk openly about it.

No. Their biggest mistake is being racist idiots.

I’m glad ABC ran this story. It reminded me why I own firearms and why I need more. I think it also helped my wife to understand that a bit better … as our mixed daughter slept peacefully in the other room.

As for the presumed double standard regarding rap musicians that some of you are grousing over, racism and other objectionable content in some of their work has been discussed for many years now. In fact, it has had a lot of attention due to the commercial success of rap music. Remember Tipper Gore and parental-advisory labeling?

Heck, I think it's be funny for a group of black teens to start blaring this out of their car stereos. Would DEFINATELY make the "wish I was black" kids scratch their heads...

>Now, if they want to pull a Kristallnacht then we'll throw their butts in jail.<

Those that are still alive, sir... only those that are still alive. And there probably wouldn't be too many of those...

The parallels to Gangsta' rap frys my fish also.

This blatanly racist and hate-filled garbage, protected as it may be, is viewed as a legitimate "culture" and an accepted part of our society. Even so, WHOA BE UNTO ANY OTHER SKIN TONE THAT EXPRESSES THE SAME VIEWS!!!

In my opinion that double standard makes the media, who promotes it, just as racist.

The entire message is pretty suckfull, but why don't we here the same outrage from the MSM over groups like La Raza and the message delivered by gangsta/narco rap?
La Raza is present on nearly every college campus in the US but no one seems to care. La Raza translates to The Race and their motto is "For those of The Race, everything. For those not of The Race, nothing".
Why no outrage over this blatant and self professed racism? Not fashionable?
Biker

They promote it because it makes money. To be honest, I don’t hear a lot of blatant racism in rap music, so I suspect the selfsame media hype is just that. Admittedly, though, I don’t listen to rap music on a regular basis.

Doesn’t anyone want to talk about the other half of the show? “You can break off a car antenna to use as a weapon …”

They have the right to speak their mind, and I have the right to speak mine and call them scumbags.

This goes for the white power folks, the brown power folks, gangsta rappers, whatever.

For those who don;t know - the "IHR" (Institute for Historical Review) is a pathetic mouthpiece for Holocaust denial. While it claims to be a legit historical orginization, it focuses entirely upon the Holocaust and why it did not happen. They base most of their claims on faulty and down right deceptive evidence (Fred Leucter's report on Zyklon-B at Auschwitz is the most important - never mind that it has been thouroughly discredited and debunked) and when all else fails, they resort to claims of the world-wide Jewish conspiracy (The "Protocals of the Learned Eldars of Zion" is their most popular book).

World War II and faux-Holocaust "scholar" David Irving is their most prolific member, and also the one who has been the most thouroughly discredited. After Irving was trounched in the case he brought against Deborah Lipstadt Richard Evans (one of the expert witnesses against Irving) wrote a book titled "Telling Lies about Hitler" which was the document Evans wrote about the numerous flaws, smears, and out-right lies in Irving's work for the trial. The book shows in clear and exacting detail the scholarly corruption of the holocaust denial movement and goes a long way in proving that the movement has nothing to do with scholarship, and everything to do with politics and anti-semitism.

Also, Prussian Blue is just another pathetic attempt by the far right to wedge itself into popular culture, and like every other time it has tried, it will fail. Unfortunately, many people think that those of us in the shooting community are connected with these defective people, and we need to do our best to prove that these people are nothing like us.

Why is the link to the stormfront foum there? Mod's should delete it.

Also, most people have been bringing up racist gangster rap music, which s a good point, but even worse, I think, is the up coming "Million More March". Orginized by leading idiot and assho|e, Louis Farrakhan, this will be three days of railing against White's, Jews and everyone who doesn't give him and his followers everything they ask for exactly when they want it. While some people have shown this to be little better than a Klan rally (the ADL has a very good piece on their website about it) most of the mainstream media have treated this as a respectable gathering.

I never knew that La Raza has such an obviously racist and bigoted motto, but I can't say I'm very surpised. Far too many people give obviously hateful groups like this free pass, which gives them credence with average people who don't invertigate and accept what they see on TV as true.

I wonder if they JPFO knows about them....

DSCN0105.jpg

I checked out thier website, thier singing is just what you'd expect from 13 year-old-girls.

nothing to get excited about, they won't make it big anytime soon....
I had to post this pic because, well I think it's creepy and silly.

"I'd like to compare it to gangsta rap," explained Sugg, "where they glorify, you know, shooting n****** and pimping whores."
Wow. Sugg and I agree on exactly one thing. While gangsta rap isn't always overtly racist, it is equally repugnant.

As for the whole "ignore them and they'll go away" issue, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Some years back there was a KKKook march in Carlisle, the county seat of Cumberland County, PA. Every business in the downtown closed, everyone agreed to stay off the street. The pictures of the Kluckers marching on a ghost town were a pretty powerful statement. They haven't bothered to come back, as it obviously was counterproductive.

I agree with LawDog, and others, who suggest making a point of ignoring them as long as they limit themselves to being idiots and hatemongers in speech only. As soon as it turns into illegal action, come down on them like a sledgehammer on a fly.

"We're proud of being white, we want to keep being white..."

I work hard at staying white, too. It's no easy task, you know.
In the words of Navin R. Johnson (Steve Martin's The Jerk)
"You mean I'm going to stay this color?!"

Hate-mongering, semi-literate helmet-wearers have a right to believe and spout off about whatever they want.

Thankfully, those with more sense tend to be armed.

I also have to support their right to say/sing what they wish. Just like I fully support some hard core rapper to sing about killing whitey and f-ing his white ho. Same thing, both are hate filled and racially motivated and both are fully protected by the constitution.

Yup, that sums it up for me too.

I'm not, and I'll tell you why.

ABC ran this story because they have a political agenda ... an agenda that has nothing to do with white supremacists or their ilk, but an agenda that has to do with vilifying the following groups:

Home Schoolers
Christians
Rural people
Non liberal Whites
Gun Owners
Republicans

The point of telling the story of these two little knuckleheads is not to make America aware of this latest threat to public decency but instead to try to paint all Rural, non-liberal white, home schooling, Christian, gun owning Republicans as being nothing more then a different shade of Nazi.
