The owner of the LGS was nice enough to let me secure with $200 down with the remainder to paid over the next two paydays.

I'm thinking the gun will be pretty useful come next deer season. The grouse and rabbits I often see walking back to my truck after a day of not seeing deer will no longer be safe.

Just a heads up....you may experience that the. 308 barrel isn't very accurate. Its takes some pretty insane tollerences to get the shotgun and rifle barrel to line up. Hence the reason why double rifles cost $10K

Otherwise, pretty sweet gun. Make sure to post a review once you get some time with it.

I'm basically planning on sighting a scope for the .308 barrel and having the shotgun barrel be stoked with birdshot for close range targets of opportunity (grouse, rabbits, etc.).

Ranges aren't usually too great where I hunt, so I don't need a tack driver.

It is a heavy gun, but I could stand to lose a few pounds, so maybe carting around a heavy gun will be good for me.

Thats a good find. I have been looking for that very gun to match it up to a couple of the .22/410's i found some time back. Both of them are pretty decent shooters btw,.....hope yours does as well for you.
