It should be lively with full loads! I'll probably order one as soon as they become available.
Just a little bit of bullet info first. When it comes to bullets, you "draw" them down to go smaller in diameter and "swage" them when you are going bigger in diameter. You can get heavier .452 bullets than you can .429 bullets, and with the 1:16 twist this thing's got, JBM says you could stabilize up to 500 gr .458 bullets assuming it wasn't too tough to swage them down.

Drawing a bullet down any more than about 3 thousands or so, "usually" degrades accuracy and the more you go down, the worse it gets. Also, with longer bullets, they will start getting banana shaped.
Another thing that happens is, the jacket loosens from the core, and that can be bad or good, depending on the application of the bullet, but usually it ends up being a bad thing.

It's been a long while since I made a post about the threads on my .450 BM, almost three years actually, but it turns out that the muzzle on mine is threaded 11/16"-24 like the Ruger. I sent an email to Silencerco to ask what I need in order to attach a Hybrid. The barrel O.D. is only .740" so standard muzzle thread sizes don't work too well. I'm having the barrel cut down to 16" and threaded but it looks like 11/16"-24 is the way to go ... again!
Usually (but not always) the more you size a cast bullet, the more the accuracy goes down. You are much better off getting a mould that cast a bullet the weight and diameter you want. Thanks for the correction on terminology, I've never sized or swaged bullets so I'm not very familiar with the processes. I've heard that sizing down jacketed bullets can cause accuracy problems but I was more thinking about one of the many .458 cast bullets out there in the 405gr range intended for lower velocity 45-70 and the like. Do you think you would run into accuracy problems sizing cast bullets down .006"? Max hunting range for something like this for me would be under 100yds, probably closer to 50yds..
If you're OK with having a brake, this looks like the ticket.
The link you provided is for the flash hider but I get your point. I think the brake would be a good idea but it requires the ASR adapter so that's an additional $254 over the cost of the suppressor. Not a huge deal but something to consider. If it's a robust mounting system I'm definitely interested.

I have very similar systems on rifles using Dead Air Armament and AAC suppressors. My only concern is that Silencerco's QD mounting sytem is very much like the AAC QD system which has been problematic for me. Does anyone have first hand experience with Silencerco's ASR QD system and the AAC 18T, 51T and 90T mounting systems? I'll be at the SHOT show in less than two weeks so will be able to take a close look at that time but if anyone has any experience to share it would be helpful.
