Kidnapping ended when criminal shoots self

I continue to be surprised how often I read 'the shot party got himself to the hospital'. I supposet it's a good reminder that handguns are not death rays. Also, watch that mexican carry!

WICHITA, Kan. - A botched kidnapping ended with one of the assailants shooting himself in the groin, Wichita police said.

The man had just stuck the gun back into his waistband when it fired, shooting him in the left testicle. He cringed, causing the gun to fire again and strike him in the left calf.

When the shooting ended, the 23-year-old man managed to walk himself into the hospital for treatment, police said. He and his two accomplices, ages 18 and 20, were arrested for aggravated attempted kidnapping and conspiracy to obstruct justice.

The men were attempting to kidnap a teen in a dispute over stereo speakers, police said.

Wow, somebody did a heck of a trigger job on that weapon. Course, shot to the testicle would cause ONE HECK of a cringe

I can imagine the reporter on the phone with the cops:

"OK, that'll do it. Oh wait, one more thing. Which testicle, left or right?
"Uh huh, OK. Now is that his left or the one on the left when you're looking at him?"

Don't you just love those little 25's. Pretty frequent happening. Wish they steal more of them.

Maybe they will remove the other to prevent breeding. "Neutered Kidnapper" That's a catchy head line.
