It's all kind of a shame, really. I took the 4-day defensive handgun class out there several years ago. It was a pretty solid class. However, I really was turned off by the sales pitches and some of the stuff that came out on TFL later. I won't go back. There are other first class schools out there without the baggage.

I am flying out there this Thursday for a 4 day defensive handgun class. I hope the place is still open.
I wonder if they will still do the sales pitch in light of the lawsuit??

Johnson finds happiness, down range. A veteran of 70 classes he hopes to one day make his hobby his home. In 2001, he purchased a platinum membership entitling him to a one acre lot in the future Front Sight master planned community.

Update 5 years later:

After an extensive search by Johnsons parents, he was found still clutching his 1911 and Ar15.

Johnson, his parents tell us, had been despondant ever since his dream of living in a gun community had been shattered. Broke from his "platinum membership" payment and unable to work due to his Front Sight class schedule, Mr. Johnson became distant.

His last words to his parents were, "if I can't live in harmony with my guns in the gun community of my dreams, then life is not worth living".

A one year exaustive search recovered his remains last Tuesday.
They were covered with pine branches within a cerimonial circle with what appeared to be the likness of a horse.

An autopsy revealed that no foul play was involved. Mr. Johnson just will'd himself to death.

His funeral was attended by surprisingly 3 dozen men with no women.
