Reading many of the threads and posts in them I see several comments about left handed rifles. How about listing our favorite left handed rifles. So the right handers don't feel LEFT out let's include ambidextrous rifles also.

I have owned or own rifles from all the major manufacturers including;
Remington
Ruger
Savage
Winchester
Teka
Browning
Stag
Weatherby
And a few righties from;
Mosin
Century Arms
Savage
Marlin
Ruger
Winchester
Browning
The right handed Savage model 12 varmint in 300 wsm was the most left friendly as a bench gun.

My favorite is my Weatherby mark V ultra lightweight.

I look forward to seeing your posts!!!

I am right handed but was raised to shoot both ways. It has been very helpful, can't say how many times I've had to shoot game left handed. I have seen hunters pass on deer because they could not get a shot, if they learned to shoot the opposite hand they would have more chances.

I've always used mauser rifles there some what ambidextrous with the normal safety.
I like guns with tang safetys my browning A-bolt and ruger ts m77 get the most use. I prefer a straight butt stock to. Most lever action are abmi friendly as well.

Well I am a lefty and my favorite rifles are...I guess right handed.

Marlin 336 and Remington 7600. They work excellently for lefties though.

Favorite shotgun by far though is the ambi Browning BPS but the Mossberg 500 is close enough as well in that regard.

Not fun being a lefty sometimes, especially when hot gases, sparks, and possibly empties are ejected into your face from a semi-auto rifle or shotgun.

Tang safeties are my favorite, and I'm OK with right handed bolt actions. I had an older Ithaca 37, they made a kit to convert the push safety to left handed use, plus it ejected out the bottom. Excellent for lefties.

I've never had a dedicated left handed action, but I think most lefties tend to be somewhat ambidextrous out of necessity and can handle most firearms just fine.

I use to hate getting hit by hot brass with the M16A1. No problems with the M16A2 with brass deflector. Most of my bolt actions are Savage lefties. Marlin semi autos don't give me too much trouble.

Did you have the safety changed in the 7600?

I’m left handed and can’t shoot right handle to save my life. The weird thing about it is I throw a baseball right handed and when I aim a handgun with one arm it’s my right arm. But long guns have to be left, I just can’t shoot them on my right shoulder. I know it’s weird. But definitely the marlin 336 as someone said above and my Ruger American. Very comfortable to shoot.

2 Browning A bolts, 7mm mag and 7-08,
Savage 111 restocked in laminate, in 30-06,
Savage .17 hmr in a stainless target model, thumb hole laminated stock,
Savage 99E in .308 with a tang safety,
Benelli SBE, 3 1/2 12 ga,

Thankfully, I learned to shoot right handed guns from the left side, so crossing brass or shells never bothered me much, and I guot pretty good at flipping safetys in my right handed guns.

I don’t change them. I take it off with my left thumb over the grip. Re-engage it with my left index finger.

The first gun I ever used extensively was an 870 so it’s pretty natural anymore.

You mentioned the top tang safety guns. They are second nature to me.

Left eye dominant rifles left handed, handguns right handed. No problems shooting my ARs. Of the 5 bolt guns I have only 1 is left handed a Remington 700 heavy barrel 308. I have a Shiloh Sharps 1874 hammer is on the right side but no problems using it.
