just wanted to get a feel for how many folks here are serious about ccw on your person ALL THE TIME????

I'm not CCW right now.
I have an unloaded, old Spanish SXS laying across the table behind my laptop. I just let the dog outside and caught a pair of eyes in the porch light about fifteen yards away. I thought it was our cat and took five steps towards it.

"Dang, that cat is getting big," I thought to myself.

Nope, bobcat just sitting there in the driveway. I grabbed my shotgun (closest) and my spotlight, but it took off when I opened the screen door to go back outside.

Well, I guess I can say I finally saw the bobcat all of my other neighbors have been seeing.

I OC when I walk around at night, but I just applied for my CPL, and after that, I will be CCW most of the time.

You should add "I have it right next to me just incase..." on there. I don't have it on my body, but its within reaching distance. I voted yes anyways:)

I don't understand why it's such a foreign concept. I do most of my posting on a PDA ( I'm sure you'd never guess given my name) I literally walked into my bedroom voted yes put the gun on the night stand finished undressing and got in to bed. in 6 hours I will wake up, grab my gun, throw on some sweats and move my car so DW can get out to go to work. the gun will remain on my hip or W/in arms reach until 0030 or so Thursday morning when I go back to bed. Why is that such an odd concept?

Well shoot, you caught me. I am just about to go to bed and I am not carrying. I have an AR15 within reach though...

I don't carry but not because i dont want to. I live in NJ!!!

The state where you can't get a carry permit unless you have a "good reason"

and considering my friend is a security guard in a real bad part of newark, and has massive crime on his shift, and he was told this was NOT a "good enough reason" to get a carry permit. ***. if he cant get one, who can!?

nj gun laws suck. lol now you need a purchase id card to buy ammo!

I voted No since that what the question was. I don't like walking around my house with a gun on. It is only me and the wife so when we are home her duty weapon is in her dressing room mine in the walk in closet each of our's HD weapon on our night stands. one weapon is kept in the office/tread mill room. one is kept in the living room and my off duty is kept on the bar. We are always very close to one. Now if i go into the garage the snub goes on me when i work in the yard there an NAA 22lr in my pocket, of course if you have kids this would not work and you should have it on you then at home.

Be safe

If there is not at least one stashed somewhere on my person, then there is more than one within hands reach... 24/7. Zombies don't work on any set schedule!

I can't carry at work due to federal regulations, but luckily where I work there are more then 30 men at the ready with plenty of firepower to defend this place and the will to do it. Now, when I am not at work I am carrying all the time.

i, am almost always (99.5 % of the time) armed. sleeping, around the house, in the automobile, walking around in public, etc. the only time i am not armed is when i am in the shower (then the gun is under the towel right next to me) or in a place where weapons are not allowed legally. if you want to call me paranoid, no biggie. i would rather be paranoid than dead.

I had to vote "not at the moment" b/c I work on federal property and I am not allowed to carry.
