The SKS was bought with cash in early '08 and its magazine is always attached.
It's my only semi-auto besides the Garand.
In general, if a gun and magazines were already affordable before the recent presidential election, that was the time to buy.
It was obvious to me long before the election that one tragedy involving a number of children would
"ignite the gun grabbers' gasoline", so to speak, and increase their "political capital" among much of the public.
Why did people wait for a nutjob to carry out another nightmarish tragedy, Before deciding to buy what they want?
By the way, many of those primers are scarfed up by greedy, self-centered ^&& #oles who try to scalp them for max. prices at the next gun shows. It happened in '08-'09 around Memphis.
