Bought a P320 full size in 40 last month already put 500 rounds through it IMHO it is a soft shooter and very accurate

I picked up the 30S a little while ago. It's small enough to conceal well IWB, but is large enough that it shoots well and is not punishing. I like it's capacity, it's reliable and it will shoot +P rounds for those who want and can manage them.

For times I want something a little smaller or lighter, the 27 has been great. It's recoil is surprisingly low for a smaller .40.

I have an XDS .45 I use for pocket carry (it's at the upper end of that spectrum), but am considering replacing it with a Shield, as it's not feeding reliably. I'm getting it back Monday and am told it's functioning properly. I'll put 500 or so rounds through it before making a decision.

Waiting is a good plan. My LC9S went back to the factory. Failed to lock open last round or manual operation of the the slide. They replaced the mag release and it's spring, the magazine, grip frame, guide rod and two frame pins. Got it back in a week. The trigger sold me. Not enough range time to call it good, time will tell.

Pseudo-Recall on the Ruger LC9s recoil spring

Ruger has identified a problem with the LC9S guide rod / recoil spring assembly.

Ruger does not call this a recall but an “updated guide rod and spring” that they will replace for free… Semantics…

If you do have the older guide-rod/recoil spring on your LC9S, call Ruger and give them your Serial Number. They will ship you a new spring assembly free.

I spoke to a nice customer-service lady at Ruger earlier this week.
I gave her the serial number of my LC9S, and she explained what the differences are between the two guide rods.

She then told me that she is shipping out the replacement assembly by 1st Class Mail, and that I should receive it by Friday.

FYI: Ruger customer service phone number: 928 541-8892

I have had my VP9 for two weeks. I have put around three hundred rounds through it with no failures of any type. This gun fits my hand even better than does my P30L. The medium back strap has a little bit of a bump in just the right place to put my hand high up on the grip. This gun has an amazingly smooth and crisp trigger. It is the fastest shooting pistol I have fired.
My wife had not shot a pistol of any kind in three years. She went out with me on Sunday and fired my VP9. She shot a clover leaf with the first three shots. The fourth hole made the grouping the size of a quarter. She was around 21 feet from the target. The gun is as accurate in my hand.
If you haven't tried it, you owe it to yourself to do so. I ordered another today for my wife at her request.

im really looking forward to the new arsenal firearms strike one pistol , it has a extremely low bore axis. if it also has a decent reset this might be the new gun to dominate uspsa production class.

for sale in early november. If reviews pan out well I buy one early next year to replace my glock 34
