Back in October 2014 LWD began advertising their “soon to be released” adjustable trigger assy. After many delays the trigger status changed to, “available for shipment”
Ordered and received mine, must have been about mid-June. This product was everything I had hoped it would be. Got rid of the stock “knife edge” trigger safety and eliminated the glock trigger sting. (If you don’t know what I’m referring to, all the explanation in the world will not help.)
First few trips to the range and all was very well! Then things started to go downhill, as in the trigger safety did not always engage!! It seemed as though the trigger safety spring had stopped doing its thing.
Went on line with LWD and the person I talked to in their chatroom said they had experienced a few failures with the spring assy. And asked that I return it to the warranty Dept. Mailed it this morning.
When I removed the trigger assy., from the gun, I did notice a faint black line on the trigger safety that was about fifteen thousandths from the edge of the trigger safety (this is on the backside of the safety lever)! That, it would seem to be the total frame to trigger safety engagement! That would explain why some times the safety would not hold, even before the spring issue.
I’ll keep you posted on how all this turns out!
