As a spin-off thread to the You Know You're a Mall Ninja If... thread, post YouTube links, MetaCafe, whoever, for the most obnoxious mall-ninja/bubba-fied gun videos on the net.
 
Just punch in "airsoft" on youtube.

Here's a mall ninja that thinks his plastic airsoft BBs penetrate several inches of flesh:

He even whipped up some extremely improperly made ballistics gel (though he seems to think it's the real deal)

That the problem with making airsoft guns looking and "functioning" like real guns, these kids get one and think they know more than those with real guns. One insisted that in order to shoot 5.56 x 45 NATO out of a AR 15 that you have to bore the chamber out in order to fire it. He ended it with, a your not worth the time to convince statement. His hobbies were video games and airsoft.

Yeah. What really, really, REALLY gets me isn't even that these people play with their stupid little toys all dressed up like chubby soldiers out in the woods, it's that they insist that because they own a plastic shooting toy gun and play video games afterwards, that knowledge carries over into the real world.

I am a gamer myself and frequent a few gamer sites, and man do I get pissed when people have a discussion about guns and all the ''experts" start chiming in.

This is a great point. Another irritating consideration is the fact that they think having a gun fight is a fun thing. As we know, they're not: they're awful, awful experiences, even if you "win."

Playing war with toy guns is their form of fun. Let them have at it. Their skills will be put to use when a bad guy in the real world attempts to commit a crime with a toy gun or two: a custom made scenario for our Mall Ninja heroes!!!

Well, seems The High Road doesn't have a real off topic forum and it mostly works okay.
I've used other forums where there was at least one or more off topic sub-forums and it always seems that the off topic stuff creeps out anyway, I'll bet it makes for a lotta extra work for the Mods too.
 
Airsoft actually is pretty fun and is the closest thing you can get to a simulation of live fire short of an expensive military training laser setup, but these people do need to realise that airsoft has nothing more to do with real firearms than paintball does.

also: @ Hann, anything related to firearms, related is a pretty broad term.
 
Some of these guys drive me up the wall. I don't play to many video games, I shoot real guns a heck of a lot more than virtual ones..but anyway.

I was having a conversation at work awhile back with one of the kids who started asking me a lot of questions about different guns. He started talking about the Scar and how it sucked because it only "held" 20 rounds in some video game... I was like they take any AR mags, P mags and you can probably run C mags in them to...just got a blank look.:rolleyes: Than I started saying I prefer 20 rounders because they are shorter, I lost him.

I usualy piss people off when I play shooting games with them, I'm like thats not realistic...BAR's don't do that...thats wrong too.:D

I think the Car was the favorite gun of Bonnie and Clide and the gun that killed him. He said something like the tommy guns just dent up car doors but the Car shoots right thru the vehicle. I think thats similiar to the Scar? Nice gun either way.

Or maybe that was a BAR, just looking it up on wiki. I was pretty sure when I watched something on it years back they said it was a CAR. Memory may be going here.

Well, here's two videos from yesterday. Thought I'd give the nutnfancy thing a try while I was on a range I could do such shooting at. No, that's not a 5.11 tactical polo shirt I'm wearing, it's a cheap Walmart one. Yes, I got the MOLLE vest and mag pouches free from work. And yes, those are ACU mag pouches on a BDU MOLLE vest, it's what I had laying around.

The first one is with my Sig 556 I recently got. Not terribly good at reloading quickly yet, as seen in the video.

I need to practice shooting from the knee a lot more. I had more fliers on those targets than I'd like.

The run n gun thing is surprisingly fun, at least as long as you're using a 22LR. Otherwise it'd get expensive fast.
 
wow that elite team fighting dude was the first person ive ever seen suggest an old style straight shotgun stock for tactical shot gun...prob the only shot gun he could find in dads closet

I thought the same thing, just some kid that plays too mauch video games + home alone for a few hours.
