I'm sitting here waiting for my doctor's office to open and thought this might be a fun question. One of the instructors I work with teaching concealed weapons classes will come into the room after lunch and ask students to guess how many handguns she is carrying at that moment. The answer is eight and she isn't carrying a purse! It's a fun way for us to demonstrate the different carry methods.

So back to my question, what is the maximum number of handguns you have carried concealed at one time?

three, sub px4 in both front pockets, and a nano on my ankle. also had two spare mags for the px4 in my back pockets, and two nano magazines in an ankle holster on the other leg. this is my standard loadout for hiking in ocala.

Typically just one but on occasion I have slipped a small .380 in my coat pocket as a back-up to my primary carry gun.

For a demo in our NRA basic pistol class, a guy in cargo pants and a vest discusses concealed carry while removing handguns from his person. His record is north of 25 guns. But that's obviously not what the OP is asking. I often carry two, a primary and a BUG. But never more.

One. I've never felt the need for a backup.
I thought you Alaskan folks always had a backup for everything. Im disappointed.

Well not exactly what I was asking but it definitely fits in with the this is just a fun question theme.

I use to carry two... a back up S&W 38 body guard in an ankle holster. When I was in college, I did some side work as a Diamond currier.

When I first saw this thread, I laughed a little, thinking it was a screening for a psych evaluation. I was hoping to read a few stories on people caring 3 and 4 guns...

ON another note.. just for discussion... IM 70 years old, I carry every waking moment a Kimber ultra 45 ACP. But.. I also carry two knives.. One is a tool, and the other is just cool...
I carry a Swiss army Knife, and also a Zero Tolerance spring assist, 350 tiger stripe.

I subscribe to Gibbs rule # 9 Never leave home without a knife.

Lordteapot,

You carry all of that to go hiking? Is there some kind of skunkape or gang roaming in Ocala?

Most: 4.
I usually carry 1 or 2: S&W 442 Airweight .38 Special (always, where legal) and Glock 22 .40 in IWB holster, sometimes. I once, on a road trip out of town, carried an additional Glock 22 in a shoulder holster and a Taurus PT-22 in a pocket as well, mostly just because I could.

Most ever was 3. A model 29 in a shoulder holster, lcp in the pocket and a model 36 in the ankle. Normally just two. An N frame of some sort and either the lcp or other small revolver in the pocket.

A one time thing to screw with my shooting buddies mind, 3 S&W 659's, 15 shot 9mms in a winter coat. One in each pocket, other middle of back. Put up a target at 25 yds, buddy ask, what did i bring to shoot? He found out when i pull both from pockets, firing both at same time. Finished up with 3th one. Fun. Every day carry, one or both of these.
