Military Shuns Many of Recruiting Age

I know I need to lighten up and laugh more. But you will not see me take up for the Medical profession on everything. I can bash them about alot of things. I am sure a teacher could do the same to teachers and so it goes. Like I said teachers are in an environment of our making. All of us. It is almost like being in a prision. Ya'll are so regulated and told all the do's and don'ts and the lawyers have you by the tail as they do us. All of us really. I know I hear it all day long and I to have to just follow the rules and be part of the herd. It is easier that way in todays society. Unfortunately it is not for the best for the individual or the whole of society. I guess today I am a pessimist.:D

I feel better

Kim, I think we just climbed into the same boat.

I would hate to even think of the legal ramifications of being a HCP.

The bureaucratic inertia of such systems really mucks up things for people trying to do a good job.

Poo really does roll downhill, from all directions.

If you sign up an ignorant obese delinquent for five years and have the authority to kick his butt around, why wouldn't you be able to restructure him as required?
Sure, we could "restructure" anyone, but it might take the whole enlistment to do it. Then what good was that recruit? That individual has 13 weeks (or less, depending on service) to be in shape, not five years.

My Corps is not a health club.
