Is there a dedicated thread/topic area for Mosin Nagant owner users? Since I got mine, there seems to be a lot of good questions, and a few experts (Cosmoline this would be you). I did a google looking for a user club, but came up with a blank.

There is a great Mosin-Nagant link ( http://7.62x54r.net/ ) that is tremendous for lots of questions, but is not really interactive. Since I don't want to re-invent the wheel thought I would ask the question.

There's also(at least) two other websites dedicated to MNs.

    www.russian-mosin-nagant.com

    www.mosinnagant.net

The links page of 7.62x54r.net is also pretty helpful/neat.

I hear tell one of those sites isn't too fond of sporterizing, and/or one of them only in the sporters section of the forums. Don't recall which one that is.

The collector's forum on the mn sight is the original mosin nagant forum that started way way back in the dark ages of the web. I believe it was one of the very first gun boards in existence. It still deals mostly with Mosin related issues:

    http://forums.gunboards.com/

You can find postings there and on the russian MN forum from the leading scholars and collecters, including Doug Bowser, Terence Lapin and Karl-Heinz Wrobel. Vic, Tuco and others contribute some great articles of their own.
