Ruger M77 with 4x Leupold shooting handloads (A1680 and Sierra 125 SPs) = five shots into ~.75 inch

Colt HBAR w/ Red Dot = 1.0 inch for five shots @100 shooting Winchester WB, and Hornady Vmax.

I can pull 2" groups with my Saiga with 8x POSP scope mounted. Thing is I have to do it with Narinco manufacture green box steel core, the few hundred rounds I landed on were a fluke, and I can't find any more, so I use those rounds sparingly...

WOLF, Hot Shot, any of the super cheap spam can crap and the groups instantly open up to 6" or more.

not to thread hijack, but would a 7.62x39 bolt gun suppress well? seems like it would do nicely with a heavy lead bullet. would a standard twist rate stabilize both super and subsonic ammo?

and hooray for mini-mausers being imported again! maybe now I'll have a source for parts.

Who's importing mini Mauser? That's exciting!

I've been working on finding a good lead load, using 160 grain Lee and 129 grain NOE bullets. Results are inconsistent right now, but getting better.

Nothing to brag about, for certain, just showing that I'm slowly working on it.

OK I have a new take on it.

Since we're talking about "Accurate" and not PRECISE...

I'll throw this new RPD I got in to the mix. :)

Good first-round accuracy, and if you don't hit with the first round, you have 99+ to go...

Not a great picture....my 20" 7.62x39 Franken-AR. It's good for making cloverleaf holes in paper; and it's endangered the local groundhog population.

If you're looking for the best 7,62x39 ammo try Lapua. It ain't cheap at about $1 a round last I looked.

The best 7.62x39 I've had was the blued w/wood stock Ruger Min-30 I bought about 20yrs ago. It shot great straight out of the box, no cleaning or sight adjustments. Got all head shots out of 30rnds @ 50yrds with open sites using Winchester white box ammo. That one and the 10/22 made me a Ruger fan for life. Picked up a stainless Mini-30 in trade the other week, hope to get it aired out and on paper this weekend.
