What would you say is the most beautiful firearm made to date? I kind of stole this from the "Most Beautiful Autoloader" thread but wanted it to include all guns. Please post pics for this. Here is what I think is the most beatuful:

Magnum Research BFR:

and the remington XR-100 Rangemaster:

Blaser has some purdy stuff. ;)

Personally, Kaiser Wilhelm's IG71 ranks up there. Barring that, Amoskeag had some really nice Martinis, and I have a weakness for German drillings.

My list of purtiest guns, in no particular order:

Colt Single Action Army
Luger P08
Browning Hi-Power
Colt Python
Pre-64 Winchester Model 70
A.H. Fox side-by-sides

I'll probably think of more later.

Check out www.shilohrifle.com and pick one. They are fine pieces and as good as money can buy. Yes, There are other very nice guns out there but these are an American classic and one of the best built guns ever.

BTW, Great music.

Blast! You stole my thread! Nah, it's ok. The truth is when you expand it too all firearms it makes my head hurt which is why mine was autos.

I'd have to go with...

The Browning BPS.
At the end of the day, after all the talk of assault rifles, submachine guns, sniper rifles and handguns, I am a shotgun man.
They are my favorite type of weapon, and this is my favorite type of shotgun.
My favorite type of, BPS, now, would be this weapon in 3" (which I think it is, anyway) with a 20" barrel and deer sights.
Whoohoo!
Oh, and would it be too much to ask for a magazine extension?
