I have a couple winchester 62 smooth bores. Great wall hangers. Not good for much else. One was brought to me to fix because the old man said he couldn't hit a thing with it. Lol. Of course the only had a small SB on the barrel.
and the vendors didnt really WANT the shooter to hit his target.

Here's my iconic; 1885 Low Wall "Special Sporting" repro from the now defunct Ballard Rifle and Cartridge in Cody, WY. It was my retirement "gift to me" when I punch out of the army. I had it built to replicate my silhouette rifle for rimfire practice:

I have to agree! Most .22’s feel like youth size rifles.Marline 39a. Full sized rifle made for the .22. Not a toy built around the cartridge. But I am sure many other great choices exist as well.
