I've got a few prints in a show opening at a big museum in Texas this weekend. I'm trying to decide on the proper carry pistol to pack along.
I've got a Texas Concealed license. I'll check museum rules before going in with a legally carried firearm.
Do you think something industrial grade, like a Sig or Glock or should I go retro with a 1903 Colt Pocket Model or Luger? Maybe I should carry a 9mm for the European flair but with high capacity like a Browning Highpower. I could go revolver...surely no BG in an upscale setting could object to being shot with a .38 short out of a 1938 Colt Lightning?
Somehow I think they wouldn't understand .45 at all.
Lots of old friends going to be there. I want to make sure I "clunk" when hugged. The redhead says she will carry extra mags, railroad flares, 1000 feet of parachute cord, tape, flashlights, batteries, gloves, flex-ties, et, et in purse so I will be free to meet and greet.
