My new Colt

While I fully intend on shooting it it could be a LONG time before I can bring myself to holster it.

I don't blame you there. Beautiful gun. Congrats. Sounds like your...addicted, maybe? :D
 
A bit. Been a good year financially and I turn 50 so its my Birthday present to myself.
 
I found a 1980 .45 5.5" in the LGS recently for $1,100. A much better gun than two Ubertis I used to own, one was a Cattleman in antique finish that literally fell apart after a few hundred cowboy action loads, then I had an El Patron with a couple of sticky chambers that were very hard to get empties out of.

Enjoy your new gun. I have always had a thing for the Colt Series 70 guns but have a few of what I call the new ones. :)

yugoprk congrats on that very nice pistol and no I don't hate colt I just don't like the prices!! I'm sure it will serve you for many years!! :)
If it werent for expensive guns I wouldnt be driven to have a high paying job :)
